In Oct 2020 during the whole COVID-19 lockdown etc, as a purchaser I used Metro Conveyancing. The Vendor also used the same office, although I was warned about both using them, I found them to be absolutely wonderful in every way, the settlement date had to be moved several times and beyond our control but they were wonderful. I had a horrible experience when I was trying to sell my property due to this company. There were many issues including:
-they performed expensive services unrequested, months before the property was on the market (then later forced me to do it again)
-many hidden fees, such as "urgent searches" even though the property wasn't even on the market yet or even a buyer.
-multiple lots of mysterious 'admin fees' on multiple invoices
-charged for work which was never completed
-when trying to discuss things with them, they just ask for immediate payment and threatened me
