1 review about Metro Holden

verified email - 05 May 2009

In 2000 I purchased a new Holden Astra. After some tense negotiation we were able to settle on a price which I was very happy with. The sales staff offered me a trade in price for my Holden Commodore, but said I could sell it privately if I wanted (which I did to get a higher price than the trade in value). After selling my car and waiting for a fortnight, Metro Holden informed me they could not deliver the car. They said there was no stock (but I wasn't told this at the time or when advised to trade/sell my current card) and offered me my deposit back. I really wanted the car so asked if they could loan me one until stock became available. Metro couldn't do this and this situation left me without a vehicle which I needed for work. I thought the service was poor after getting me to sign for a car, and it was disappointing that they can just walk away from a contract that they couldn't deliver on.

Approximate cost: $26000

Sounds a bit like my experience, have done a review but womo took it off so whats the point of making review to let customers know of bad experiences if womo takes them off. I wrote nothing wrong just the true event what happened to me.
