On 20 December 2010, I moved into a Lifestyle Centre for Over 55's.
Metro Movers are the contracted firm to shift new residents into the Village.
The damage they did to my new home (door frame) and to my goods was UNBELIEVABLE.
They are just appaling. DO NOT USE THEM. They dropped my furniture; they carried my two (2) bedside tables on top of each other; they scratched the leather of my brand new leather 2.5 seater; they slashed the leather on my massage table; they broke my nearly brand new DVD Recorder.

DON'T USE THEM. BE WARNED. THERE HAVE BEEN MANY COMPLAINTS WITHIN THE VILLAGE ABOUT THE ROUGHNESS OF THEIR MOVE TECHNIQUES AND LACK OF CONSIDERATION.

I really wanted removalists who would be professional, offer great service and be easy to deal with. I found all this and lots more with MetroMovers. From the first contact they were fantastic and I felt confident I'd made the right choice. Nothing was too much trouble - from booking, through to them dropping off packing materials and - of course - the move itself.
The move was fantastic - the guys phoned as promised, arrived on time and nothing was too much trouble for them - especially the manoeuvering of the truck .... the amazing piece of reversing I've seen! They were so careful with everything .... even up four flights of stairs! Within 5 hours I was moved and everything went PERFECTLY. I couldn't be happier with them and I'd happily recommend them to anyone wanting a great service and value pricing!

We did a move from a house to a high-rise building. The guys were very professional despite the fact that they had to push the furniture up few ramps. They took very good care of all items and no significant damages to any items. The best thing was the speed of their work - the move took around 4 hours only and therefore came at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and I'd definitely use MetroMovers next time I need such services.

Moved a 3 bed high rise into a new place in the suburbs in heavy rain. Guys maintained a remarkably polite and humour filled demeanor throughout the ill-weathered event. Results were: not one item damaged or broken (including walls in the tight high rise corridors), moved out of the building faster than the last company that moved me in, made a stressful day a lot less stressful by their constant chirpiness and good humour. I have had many moves with many companies and I have finally found one to hold on to! Thanks go out to Matt and Josh on the job and Jo in the office for the wonderful service!!

Knowledgeable office staff, well trained removalists, great looking trucks and uniforms, good price. All in all , a very good experience with Metromovers. All my furniture was treated carefully and all the staff were very polite to me and my partner. I recommend this company.

Moved equivalent of a 3 bedroom house across Melbourne from Mitcham to Sunshine West. Got Richard and Luke who were obviously experienced removalists and as a bonus, a trainee provided a third set of hands. The service was top notch, with a lot of respect shown to myself and my items.

It's the first time I've used them so I put trust in the fact they have AFRA accreditiation - was happy to find they really were highly professional.

This company moved my family home that we had been in for almost 30 years. From the ladies in the office who explained everything to me and made me feel so relaxed to the wonderful men who took care of my precious things - thank you. It was a most rewarding experience. I don"t think I will be moving again for many years but I would definitely recommend metromovers to everyone I know.

If you want stress free then these are your guys. Moved from Richmond to Olinda and they were friendly, professional and did the job in no time. Would and will recommend to everyone I know. Great work!
