We have been here for lunch and dinner.The service at lunch was reasonably fast and we enjoyed souvalakis which were very tasty. Our dining experience for dinner was a bit different..We waited for quite sometime to order drinks and when it did arrive one member of our groups drink was dropped on the floor so it took a while before his replacement drink arrived..We decided to order our food when the waiter brought the new drink over. The food was very nice we shared some dips and bread which was quite filling the dips were great and fresh. Our main meals were all great.We had a seafood saganaki which was great( lots of seafood )and Chicken Breast filled with seafood, poached in a white wine and cream sauce, topped with Tasmanian mussels and chunky roast potatoes, with a side serve of elleniki salata that too was great and Mushrooms stuffed with feta and spinach and topped with a Feta Cheese and mustard cream.All in all the food was great and apart from the wait the service was good,the waiter was very friendly and chatty.We will go back.

Very slow service but the waitress was really young and nervous so we made allowances. Decent Greek food (when it finally arrived!) at very reasonable prices for Salamanca. Lots of options for vegos.

Mezethes Greek Tavern is an asset to Salamanca Square. Greek flavors in all the dishes we tried were delicious all top quality. The friendly staff made us most welcome. We will return to this friendly restaurant.

I went here with my family recently for a birthday dinner, and being of Greek ethnicity, we had pretty high standards. I can't say we weren't pleased with the food!! It was delicious. We got a number of platters to share, and none went hungry (in true Greek style). It was, though, a very busy night, and the restaurant was quite noisy and crowded. The service was very polite, despite the lengthy wait for our orders.

My wife and I dined here for our 5th wedding anniversary after hearing some pretty positive things about it from friends.

The food was fantastic, full of flavour and delicious. It was a little on the pricy side but worth it.

What let them down was the service. It was a very busy evening but as we were seated in a nice cosy corner we seemed be a bit out of sight out of mind. Observing from our vantage point there didn't seem to be much system to the way our waitress operated.

All in all it was a pleasant evening but I believe if i were to go there again it would be on a quieter night.

great place to go get a bite to eat. the meat platters and the char grilled octopus is my favourite

Only eaten there once, food was great, was with a group - had two dip platters for the table and they turned out to be hideously expensive for the small amount of dip on them. Otherwise food was not too badly priced. Was a couple of years ago so can't remember exact price, but mains were in the low $20 back then.
