Just been here last night after huge reviews from WOMO, I booked 1 week in advance, took 30mins to be seated, the menu was great, but, the food wasn't up to scratch at all. I wouldn't recommend at all

Was invited to a Banquet for a friends 50th birthday. Obviously the environment made by our guests was magic but unfortunately there was no music or entertainment which was a bit of a let down. I had their famous pumpkin curry chicken and yum yum it was delicious. For 30 people in our group, there were 3 meals that had to be returned due to small mistakes. And as it was a Banquet Menu, we only had a choice of one dessert, which was unfortunate if you didn't like sticky date pudding. I personally thought $40 per person when you picked at dishes put in the middle was a bit expensive. Lovely big area though, could definitely cater for a wedding or similar event.

The tables were really clean and tidy, with no stains but under the table i found chewing gum. First we had satay chickens and it was a really small potions but with the penut sauce it really topped it. The combination of the lemon chicken, mogolian beef and fried rice was splendid. overall i had a very nice night. I'm very sure ill be going again.

We dined here as Michael's Oriental restaurant provided gluten free options. I was very impressed with the attention and clarification to ensure our meals were gluten free. The food served was delicious and I have no hesitation recommending this restaurant to anyone who has special dietary needs.

I have only visited Michaels for private functions. On these occassions the food has been fantastic and very generous. We had a selection of meals brought out and we shared them amongst out table - we couldn't eat everything they put out for us.
The staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was great. We have been meaning to go back to take the family for a meal....

friendly courteous staff, meal arrived quickly and was just freshly cooked and delicious. This was much appreciaciated as we were travellers from central QLD and found it very convient not to have to drive any where as it was right there at the motel where we were staying, The Best Western Sunnybank Star Motel and Apartments.

I went to this restaurant as part of my husband's work function and I found the food to be excellent. I eat gluten-free and was amazed at the amount of food they served me (separately to the banquet everyone else was sharing). I felt bad because I could not finish it all but it was absolutely beautiful. The food that was served to everyone else was plentiful and tasty (according to my husband). We will definitely return if we get a chance.

went to Michaels with my wife. The atmosphere was very elegant, food was very good and plenty of it but the service was the best I have ever had in a restaurant. this was fine dinning

Went with a large group of friends. We had heard great things and these all turned out to be true. Service unsurpassed and great atmosphere. Make sure you check out all the photos of celebs who have dined there.

This is the best chinese food. It is so yummy and fresh. And it's more closer to fine dining than your typical chinese restaurant. They are always busy which is a good sign. And they cater for gluten free.

I have gone her before to give a speech and they function rooms where really nice. Well laid out and looked very appealing. I was unable to try the food because I had to leave before it was served.
