OMG Mieka are amazing!! I had the best colour I've ever had in my life by Olivia. I was recommended by my friend and was super impressed on my first visit. No-one has ever been able to get my blonde right but Olivia nailed it! The salon isn't cheap but it is worth every cent.

I just got my hair done with Olivia. She was fabulous! Cut and coloured my hair so well, I've never been so impressed after going to a salon. I rebooked after, because I was happy with it.

i went back to Mieka to see D'Artanion, I was told he's on a long extentended leave! One of the receptionists had assured me to try his replacement, all i can say after this experience was TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Definitely will not come back after this experience and recommendation from them. :(

I thought that from the great reviews I had read about this salon, I was going to find exactly what I've been looking for in a hairdresser. For the price (in excess of $300) I was expecting a fantastic cut and an amazing colour. I left feeling disappointed at having spent so much and with a cut and colour that was no better than other salons where I had paid half that amount. It was OK, but nothing great. Infact I have had much better cuts in the past. The service was good and the staff lovely, but I wouldn't return at those prices. For me, definitely not worth it!

Mieka is fantastic, I recently had my hair cut and coloured and absolutely love it, best cut and colour I've ever had and the service was second to none. I had a lot of compliments from other people also. Yes they are expensive, but they obviously invest a lot in training their staff and it really shows, you will get what you pay for and then some. There's nothing worse than paying top dollar for an average haircut/colour, but I'm happy to pay when I get service/hair this good.

This place is FANTASTIC! I had heard mixed reviews about this place but decided to try it because it was local and the nicest looking salon I had seen in the area. My hairdresser to ages talking to me about what I wanted and what I had to do to maintain my new hair (I went from long brown boring hair to a funky blond bob). The process was really really really long, but the result was better than I had expected. The staff are friendly and the salon was suprisingly quiet even though it was busy. I will be recommending this place to all my friends and will definitely be back. Thanks!

I've been going to Mieka Hairdressing for years - and love it! There is a great positive vibe in the salon and from the moment you walk you are made to feel welcome and comfortable. You can tell the staff love their profession and don't just view it as a job. There is a great, creative energy. I've been to several stylists and each time I've been very happy. They regularly encourage me to try something new with my hair whether it is a new styling suggestion or colour technique. There's no banging out the same old style at each appointment, which I know can be the case with some hairdressers. Not only are there suggestions fashionable but they are also complementing to my lifestyle, which is important being a new Mum with a young toddler! I don't have much time for primping and preening. I know they are not the cheapest salon but they are definitely not the most expensive I've been to and considering I've never had a bad haircut or colour I think they are value for money.

I went to a free consultation with Belinda (master hairdresser) she was pretty average in her recommendation. Even though I asked her on her opinion she only asked back what I would think. Pretty lame. A week later I had an appointment with her for a cut ( color was done by someone else). I brought a picture of a haircut I wanted. She is technically very good but for me there was not enough commuication. I prefer to discuss haircuts rather than let somone just do it. So many times I trusted hairdresser without questioning and ended up disappointed. So this time I wanted to make sure to get it right but I had to press hard. The colour was (highlights) good.
