Brilliant food here, brilliant service by the staff, all very friendly and welcoming. Very centrally located

I have had so many beautiful meals at Ming Terrace, the food is fabulous and the staff are amazing.

The dimsims are massive and tasty. Sweet and sour pork is a ripper and the lemon chicken i want to have babies with - its that good.
Gets very busy on a weekend, it's popularity is testament to the taste. Service is friendly and efficient even when they're packed and clearly under the pump.

The best restaurant in ocean grove. Can't go past the Cantonese sliced steak and the satay combination. The family running the business make a point of remembering return customers. The view over the barwon heads bluff is lovely, however you might need sunglasses if you're going to be there during sunset.

We went here on a Sunday night and had the banquet for 2 so we started with Prawn Crackers, Spring Rolls and Dim Sims followed by Sizzling Mongolian Beef, Beef & Chicken in Black Bean Sauce and Special Fried Rice. The food was delicious and the service was pretty good.

We had Banana Fritters for dessert which were delicious. There was only one problem, both my girlfriend and I did end up going to the toilet (number ones) several times more than we would normally during the night. I can't pin it on the food but there was nothing else different that we did that day.

Owned by locals Roy and Melissa Tan, "Ming Terrace" has been a staple in the main street of Ocean Grove for many years now. Located on the corner of the street, upstairs above a hairdressing salon, "Ming Terrace" offers picturesque views of the beach at Ocean Grove and across to the bluff at Barwon Heads.

The menu is very traditional Westernised Chinese fare. Whilst dishes such as honey chicken aren't actually eaten in China, Roy's sweet recipe makes for a delicious treat. Couple that with other dishes such as fried rice, lemon chicken, steak in black bean sauce, etc., and you are on a winner.

Prices can be slightly high when compared to other Chinese restaurants around, but I feel the quality of food you get is worth it.

Be aware that corkage is charged, sometimes even when someone isn't drinking wine.

Always a winner when im in town, great spot with veiws out over ocean grove and the surf beach. Good menu with resonable prices for a great feed. Big place but in summer need to book ahead if you have a larger group. Friendly service and also does delivery around the area.

A family-run business, owners Roy and Melissa and their kids run a very tight ship at the "Ming Terrace". Roy and his chefs are brilliant cooks of Chinese cuisine with an Australian flavor. The food is top-notch and the prices reasonable. The views out over the seaside are to-die-for, particularly on a clear summer's night. Two thumbs up!
