I've been to 3 birthday parties and a farewell at Miss Mauds. The staff is always very helpful, no matter how big or small our party. The food is always beautifully presented and fresh. Lots of variety, even for a vegetarian. Make sure you leave room for the fresh fruit and desserts.

Approximate cost: $50

This place has the best buffet in perth. The quality of the food is amazing and the variety is WOW. It's a little more expensive than other buffet places but you'll see why once you go and see the quality for yourself.

Approximate cost: $45

I agree Miss Mauds in perth is the best place for a buffet meal in perth. We were there a few years ago and not many places open at night in the cbd area but miss mauds was and we had a great meal, with excellent service. We were that full after eating dinner that night. Staff really look after their customers.

Went for a dinner buffet yesterday and that was my third visit, though my previous two were for lunch. The buffet offerings were pretty much the same for lunch and dinner. Two choices of soups ( I liked the beef and veg soup), carvery(beef or pork with pork crackling, yum) with gravy and condiments, and on the warmer there were lamb chops and mint sauce on the side, roasted veg, stir fried veg, cauliflower and cheese, potato wedges and sautéed mushroom. For cold items, there were various salads like beetroot salad, seafood salad, fresh prawns, yabbies, oysters, mussels, marinated herring. For dessert, there were chic mousse, jelly, pavlova, choc rolls, variety of little cakes, princess cake and a few others and fruit.

Ambiance-wise, it was quaint and cute in a traditional way. I know some ppl think it needs refreshing but I don't mind it. There was also live performance for background music too.

In terms of value, it is pretty ok for $48 per pax.

Nice staff, they are very friendly. They have a selection of foods and drinks on their menu, the coffee is divine. A calm atmosphere, but can get a little rowdy at times. All in all not a bad coffee spot to drop in to.

great place. we usually try and go at least once a year. not a big fan of the cold foods except the prawns but the hot foods are very nice. great roasts as well. oh the desserts are awesome. but i must admit i do make a better pav.
i do find the entertainment a bit too loud so we always ask for a table as far away as we can.
have had a brekkie there once before - not bad.

Miss mauds always reminds me of going out for lunch with my grandparents! The food is always delicious and fresh, and there is such a variety! Their cakes and desserts look incredible, and taste just as good! Service is generally kept to a very high standard. (waited tables). The price of the food is on the upper end, but is resonable considering the service & quality.

I used to work across the road from here last year so would go in all the time for the angel cake, the green one with marzipan. I don't even like marzipan that much but it just reminds me of being young, when going out to Miss Mauds was like winning the lottery! I had the smorg last week and I have to give compliments to the desserts selection but my soup was far too salty and when I told the waitress (who asked me how it all was), she didn't care. I have never had an item in a restaurant that was salted to the point that it was inedible until now. I'll be back though, once a year or so, for old times sake.

Sweet memories for me. Had an afternoon tea here for my wedding reception, a looongg time ago. It couldn't have been better. We were well catered for.

More recently I actually stayed here and loved it. The rooms are sweet and large.

Had dinner and breakfast as well.

Dinner buffet was fabulous and so much to offer.
My favourite item was "Princess Cake" - looked dangerous but was light and delicious. The taste was out of this world.

Breakfast was great as well and I lingered on trying different things.

Miss Maud's is just one of those places I feel at home. Love it.

One of the best buffet breakfasts I've been to! Love it!! The food is excellent. I can't wait to go again, might have to go on a diet first though!!
