Nice outdoor street food style burger place. you ca order coffee from the restaurant next door and enjoy a good quality, low priced burger.

Tasty and affordable burgers, sides will raise your price but are tasty too. brioche bun makes it a bit fancy, and the seating area is on the side away from busy kings street foot traffic

not much seating in the cafe, however they've got heated outdoor seting which does keep you pretty warm. I'm always getting hot chocolates from them, they're your average sweet hot choc!

Had lunch here last week and can't believe I've never been here before! This place is fantastic - the service was excellent, the Club Sandwich delicious and the coffee was hot and creamy. Will definitely be back.

Excellent coffee in an open environment. There are seats along the wall and one table only.

I would come back for more coffee when nearby.

This place is always busy, it is a popular place for brunch. I really enjoy the chai latte here and the cakes are always yummy. Nice selection of cakes/desserts. I like the sticky date pudding here, so moist and not overly sweet.

Been there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and all have been amazing. Great place to go for anytime of day. Has a lovely cosy interior that provides a perfect atmosphere. Menu is slightly pricey.
This restaurant is always busy so if going in a group I highly recommend booking beforehand. I would also recommend the sticky date pudding , its absolutely delicious.

This is such a great place especially in the summer if you're going for a really nice breakfast/lunch. You have the choice of sitting outside or inside so it really is flexible. The foods always really good too and the staff are always really nice and accommodating!

Really nice staff and the food is good quality and presentation is nice. However a little bit pricey

Really love this place! The menu is extensive & the staff are so friendly. Lovely interior & cosy atmosphere. Bit on the pricier side of things but the food really is great

Lovely cafe for brunch on Kingsway. Now they have opened a Mocha Jo's Burger Bar on the side street and their waffles are the bomb!

Love to catch up with friends. Friendly enough and speedy service. My favourite choice every time is the chicken risotto.

Despite its slightly expensive prices, such prices can be expected from a classy cafe with great ambience. Located only 2 minutes from Glen Waverley station, Mocha Jo's is a brilliant cafe, offering a wide range of snacks, main meals, desserts, cakes and both hot and cold drinks. The cafe offers both indoor and outdoor dining, and is always full (a sign of a good cafe!). The staff are lovely, and there are generally at least 15 staff on at any given time, ensuring service is prompt and food comes out quickly. Overall a great cafe.

Always busy and always friendly service. Bit restrictive area in side due to the amount of tables but otherwise nice environment and service is always prompt and attentive staff who strive to remember the regulars and get to know their name.

Love coming here for a coffee and cake or snack, however meals are on the pricey side, but really nice. Open late some nights, always busy, love the garlic roti, and coffee is pretty decent.

Went there for breakfast with the family. Sevice was good. They found us a table pretty quickly on a busy morning.

However for the price you pay, the food was pretty average. The wife and I had eggs on toast and some extras on the side. The one good thing was the jam that came with the bagel. The coffee was ok, but not great.

Approximate cost: $15

One of my favourite coffee shops in Melbourne. It is conveniently located next to me and I plan most of my meet ups here. Staff are unbelievably friendly. Love their coffee and dessert. Had dinner here once & ordered the butter chicken and my friends ordered a burger. It wasn't the best meal but considering they don't specialise in Indian food we left satisfied! The smoked salmon bagel is a must have. It can however get very busy on the weekend.

Finding a table initially was difficult. We first went inside, but it was far too noisy, so decided to sit outside.
The waitress was fantastic, friendly, and made the time to welcome us properly wishing rushing us to pick something off the menu.
The meals took close to 40 minutes to come out at 1pm on a Friday, a bit longer than expected but it was extremely busy.
Our food was fantastic and could not be faulted (risotto and butter chicken).
Coffee was amazing, we happily had seconds.
This is not a quiet place to come with gran, it has a much more busy, youthful vibe. Maybe it has its quiet times... Will have to check it out another day.

I liked Mocha Jo's. Their food is great. Sometimes the staff seem so busy that it is hard to get their attention, but I guess they are just so worked off their feet. I'd go again, just maybe not at peak times.

I have been going to Mocha Joes for a number of years and have never had a bad meal. The staff are friendly, just need to not be so smart and come down to earth a bit. The milkshakes are also a bit expensive!

Approximate cost: $20

always hear abt great places to eat in the CBD but dont like to travel so far & decided to try this place. Very surprised with the quality of food, absolutely loved the Seafood Risotto (lunch menu)! :) a lil noisy but still a nice place to dine, would go again.

This place is always full even when we were there for afternoon tea at about 3.30pm. Fortunately, they still serve their lunch menu (and specials) at that time. Service here is always very good with very attentive and well trained staff.

The food is also very good. Generally they serve typical cafe food (steaks, fish and chips, lamb, chicken etc) but I would say the food comes out classier than your typical cafe. Hubby and I shared a starter of crispy Pork Belly (highly recommended), I had the fish and chips (pretty good) and hubby had the pasta from their set menu (excellent). My dad had the Kangaroo steak in mint sauce there for dinner once and still talks about it so it must have been really good. Hubby also mentioned that his coffee was excellent (I am not a big fan of coffee)

The management have really thought about the image that they want to portray and it comes across in the quality of staff and their food.

It also comes out a little bit in their prices. They are a little pricier than your average cafe but like I said, they are a little posher than the average cafe.

They do have seating outside (or alfresco) but I would avoid that if I could help it. There is a lot of foot traffic in Kingsway and I can imagine that it would distract from the excellent food.

Overall I really like this restaurant. The prices do make it such that we don't go there regularly, especially with so many excellent and cheaper restaurants in the area. But once in a while for a treat and for a good cup of coffee, we give it a go and have not been disappointed. A little shocked when we pay the bill but never disappointed :-)

This place is very busy so best get in early before the lunch time crowd hits. The coffee is good and they have a good range of salads etc that are super yummy. Don't like sitting on the pavement though as its way too busy out there.

I have stopped here for a coffee and snack with the wife a few times after a movie.

Service is good if they are not too busy. I don't stay if the only table is out dront as the passing foot traffic is annoying.

My wife says the coffee is very good (I don't drink coffee) and I always enjoy my cakes and slices.

Never been for a full meal so I cannot comment on that.

I would recommend you book on summer weekends as it is nearly impossible to get in at this time.
