Decided to meet a friend here for dinner. We hadnt booked but had no problem getting a table. Was pleasantly surprised, had more of a restaurant feel than a pub. I had chicken parmigiana, which was cooked well and quite a generous serving. There was also a salad bar with a wide selection of side dishes and yummy fresh hot bread rolls. I noticed a lovely enclosed outdoor dining area that I would like to sit in next time, very modern and overall pleasant atmosphere. Staff were polite. The only problem was it was a bit noisy in there, it wasnt overly crowded but everyone's voice seemed to carry making it loud and hard to have a good conversation with my friends.

I have dined here previously and wasn't impressed at all HOWEVER, I went back and was pleasantly surprised! The menu isn't overly creative and there's not much that's not fried, battered or covered in oil or cream. I ordered the breast chicken salad and it was huge and delicious! It was also a little pricey but considering how big the serving was the sting from the cost faded quite quickly. It's a good lunch venue and the staff were lovely and accommodating for me and my 14 month old son. Like I said - I was pleasantly surprised - well done!

I went to the Modbury Plaza last night for my Mother's birthday dinner. It's not my usual sort of place, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I ordered pan-fried chicken. It was cooked well, and a great serving size. The sauce was great too.

When the meals came out, my sister's burger was accidentally dropped on the floor by a waitress. The way this was handled is a perfect example of great service. She apologised sincerely, my sister was offered a complimentary drink while she waited, and the fresh meal came out so quickly.

Everyone was happy with their meals!

The only negative point is that we were seated close to the bar, where an incredibly noisy blender kept being used for cocktails. This was a bit frustrating as sometimes we couldn't hear ourselves.

But other than that, a great dinner!

Great restaurant with a wonderful selection of fresh meals. We had a great meal here together with a delicious selection of salads to choose from. The new enclosed beer garden is great for a private function too.

Haven't been here for years, was always good, but now I found it great, the meals were huge, had the barramundi with mashed potato and mustard sauce, so nice and so filling couldn't partake in the salad and vegetables and baked potatoes and bread rolls provided. Partner had the gluten free Chorizo Sausage & Prawns Espaniolle, heaps of prawns, chorizo, avocado, potato, tomato, capsicums, coriander and chilli on salad green. We were asked during the meal if everything was ok, the meals were served timely and the plates removed quickly as well. Really enjoyed it there.

Friends from work and I had a quick drink here after work last week. We enjoyed it and the drinks, service and price were excellent. The 'outdoor' area was great and well protected by the weather.

We booked a family function here recently in the restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised to see how nicely the table was set up and everything was ready as soon as we arrived. It is a casual dining area but the meals were very nice. I ordered the lamb shanks and they were very tender and delicious. My daughter and son had the schnitzel and one friend the huge mixed grill. Drinks were reasonable and we were able to get jugs of soft drink for the table which kept the prices down. The desserts were nice I had the sticky date pudding and the kids enjoyed the ice cream. It was an enjoyable meal. We will definitely return

A small menu with not much imagination - limited, typical pub grub. Reasonably good service but a little slow. The food is ok - average, have been there several times and will not try again for a long time.

The dining room looks fantastic after being renovated. Food is good and reasonably priced, nice buffet, friendly staff, great family restaurant.

the quality of the food was great. that is when we got it of course. the service was appalling. very slow. the prices are reasonable. the venue is very trendy, the staff is friendly which is good.
