We found this restaurant through the Privileges Card scheme and have since been back several times. Service is fast and friendly and they are very good with kids; providing decent, clean high chairs and special kids bowls and cutlery.

The menu offers a good variety of food and there is also a blackboard offering seasonal specials. There is nothing overly inventive or unique on the menu; just good, decent quality, reliable fare. Our family favourites include the duck pancakes (buy the large serve and you will be given what looks like 1/2 a crispy duck!), Yummy pork, and salty chili squid.

The decor is basic, but always clean, and tables aren't packed in too tightly. They have several banquet tables and these always seem to be full when we go - a sign that the place is quite popular. Even when there are groups dining, service is always still very fast.

Menu prices are average but portions are quite generous. Parking is also very easy to find in the sidestreet near the restaurant. We will be back again, especially because they always make our kids feel welcome.

The banquet menu at Monkey Magic is very worth the money if you have 4 people or more. The food is quite authentic and really yummy. I particularly like the fried rice and the tofu dishes. The service is quick and efficient.

The restaurant provided some really taste Chinese dishes, such as Beijing roast duck.
The owner was changed. It could not provide any dish related with duck though they are still on the list. Very disappointed.

I went to dinner last Tuesday and had the Thai Red Curry which was great. This was a great mid-price range restaurant with helpful staff, and it's called Monkey Magic! You can't lose!

Don't stay for the decor - stay for the food. All dishes I've sampled have been fantastic, especially the duck with plum sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant to families as it is very family friendly.
