Montezumas takes first place for the greatest mexican I've had the joy of eating. The range of meals is first class and I really enjoy the enchiladas. The meals are served piping hot and are a delight. Starting off with some CC's and dips is nice but be careful how much you choose to eat as the main meals are big, I found this out first hand. Total cost for me was a bit on the expensive side, but you definitely get what you pay for and that is first class mexican.
Montezuma's Capalaba is a wonderful family friendly restaurant. We have been here several times in the last 5years since moving to the area. We've been as a couple, family, with small and large groups and have never waited more than 35 minutes for our main meal.
The food is delicious and very affordable.
Approximate cost: $18
Just adore the atmosphere and Mexican menu, especially the Taco's always cooked to perfection. For a family night out or celebration the staff is always so attentive and helpful. Just love Montezuma's!
Approximate cost: $30.00
The Sanfransico is what my hubby and I enjoy!!!
I LOVE Montezumas! Have been going to Mt Gravatt for many years and since moving to the Bayside have visited Capalaba a few times which we've found even BETTER than the fantastic store at Mt Gravatt in terms of quality of meal AND service.
Sorry for all the CAPS but I can't stress enough how much this place ROCKS.
Approximate cost: $20
very good food and service, family friendly. my favourite meals are their combo meals. nice large servings. they make very good margaritas too. i love the layout and authentic decorations.
Have been to the Capalaba one a few times for dinner and lunches. The Staff are always really helpful and always checking on you. The meals are all big sized and quite well priced for the food!
have always wanted to try them
We dined at this restaurant for the first time recently and were very impressed with the friendly and enthusiastic staff. There was one young teenage boy in particular, whose name I can't recall - he was particularly impressive in the way he spoke with us - it was very refreshing.
Although it took a little longer than we would have liked for our meals to come out, when the food arrived, it was very nice. It was a very busy Friday night, so this may have had an impact on the timing of the food. Overall, a good experience and I plan to visit again.
Eating with two young children for dinner very good they supplied them with pictures too colour in and bought their food out first like we asked.
Approximate cost: $18.00
for mexican I can't go past Montezuma's - they are a chain restuarent & can be found everywhere - and each one is a bit different. I love it.
this one was differnt from others I have been to - the guacamole had cream corn blended in & the beans were more watery than elsewhere.
other than that I really liked it - but then I love montes!
Approximate cost: $15~20
Compared to other Monte's around town like Chermside and Mt Gravatt - I found this restaurant fairly disappointing. I went with a girlfriend for lunch on a Saturday and we were one of only two tables occupied in the whole restaurant. There was only one girl serving who also had to make any drinks and only one man in the kitchen.
The service was atrocious and I even had to get up from the table and find the waitress to ask if she could get us another drink.
The food was ordinary with the beans alot more watery/runny than other places. Hesitant to go back after the food and service was so poor but might give it another try to hopefully live up to our expectations.
Approximate cost: $20
