Went to this place after friend recommendation. I have to say I'm impressed by the service and food quality. Our friend help us order and they also get us Marco Penne which is delicious! Awesome atmosphere too! We will definitely come back again!

This is my favourite restaurant/cafe in all of Perth. The cafe is late night- meaning you can still go in at 11pm for a feed. On mondays & tuesdays they do an 11.95 pasta pizza night with 4 dollar house wines. My favourite dish is the Marco Penne. Staff are lovely, hipster-but lovely. The whole place has a very indie feel which makes it so relaxing. The mismatched furniture just makes the whole place seem like a home. I must recommend the Mud cake, heated. YUM.

I love the decor with all the cool art on the walls and the mis-matched chairs. It's great for groups or just in pairs or a few people. The food is always great and the prices are excellent. I've had pasta there which was a great combination of ingredients and the pizza there is also well made. The desert pizzas are sweet and filling. Lots of amazing cocktails to choose from too, it's lots of fun going through the menu. Awesome staff and atmosphere :) It's great that it's open late at night too so you can go there after drinks in Northbridge, or even go there for dinner before going out.

Moon Cafe is a great late night hang out spot. It has a nice chill vibe, perfect for catching up with friends over drinks and light snacks and talking late into the night. They have a decent selection of food and drink, and always seem to have a good crowd. The bowl of chips is quite deceptive - it never seems to end! I've never been here when there's been live music but am keen to check it out. Definitely recommend Moon Cafe as a good place to hang out with friends at night.

Very convenient late night hangout in the city. The food is great but the service seems to slow down as the night wears on. By that stage though, the atmosphere and the cosy feel of the place can be more important than speedy service.

We love sharing snacks over a coffee before heading home, but after reading one of the reviews below, I can't wait to try the Greek salad.

Love Moon Cafe, love the booths and the casual vibe. This place does THE biggest Greek salad, just delicious, not overpriced like most Perth eateries! well all the food is good here and big servings are given so come here when youre hungry and you wont be disappointed. Frothy milkshakes should be ordered too :)

The food was great and I could not fault the service - the back area has a similar feel to Mrs Brown in North Freo - random old furniture & quirky artwork

Food is really good and is ready very quickly. Try to come at 5:30/ 6ish before the rush of people as it is very popular. Can choose to sit at bar, booths or restaurant at back

this. place. is. awesome.
massive portioned cheap eats, great varied menu and all in an arty farty wickedly awesome old fashioned diner, with outlandishly cool decor, artworks and random objects dotting the walls and one off pieces of furniture. separate area out the back and one that offers a different dining experience to the front diner area. fully licensed bar and also has table games available for hire for when there's a few people together looking to kill a few hours. live entertainment every night. has a very student feel but business people do come for late night dinner and coffee too. I'd suggest bringing kids during lunch time. baby highchairs are available as well, although the place at night time is packed to the rafters with adults and the place can become quite loud. this place has eclectic and friendly staff, bottle watter as soon as you are seated. it's just a very quirky casual place to come and you can never be bored! i really could go on but this is a place to experience for yourself - definitely for the adventurous type!

Approximate cost: $20

I have been to this cafe a couple of times. To be honest this place is not really my scene because the menu prices here are fairly pricey. The food is pretty good, but like I said you pay for it.

The main criticism I have for this place is that the serving time is very long. Also the band noise makes it very hard to have a conversation. However this place seems to be the go to place especially for the artsy type people that like this kind of vibe.

Approximate cost: $15-20
