Wonderful customer service and a great experience all round.
I was going to go to a chain store competitor, but I received much better service and even a better price for two pairs of glasses.
Went in for sunglasses repair - was fixed within minutes and no charge - zero! Amazing! For this day - I would have thought at least $15! But zero

No, I wouldn't recommend this business. Appalling customer service. I booked an appointment approximately 10 days ago by attending the store. I was asked all my details . I was given an appointment card with today's time and date. I arrived in the store 2 minutes late as I had difficulty getting a park to find no record of my booking. They offered me an appointment tomorrow when I was unavailable. It was like I didn't exist.
We are sorry to hear that your appointment was deleted from our booking system. As we book in over a hundred people a week through our booking system , sometimes there can be a mix up with appointment times, we are only human and strive to make our customers happy . A mild inconvenience at worst. Out of 70+ reviews theres less than a handful of negative ones - yours is one of them. Even after an apology you snipe, I will take my business elsewhere.
I feel for the optometrist whos going to be taking you on. Ive never set foot in this shop but your review jumped out at me; passive aggressive, much?
Having looked everywhere for new glasses I found the shop closest to my home had the best choice both in style and price. Staff very patient and not pushy trying to sell the most expensive. I wont look anywhere else in future, and will be recommending Mordialloc Optical to friends.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff (Jody & Pia). Extremely responsive service - even when I needed help getting used to my new (great) multifocals! I also appreciated the honest feedback when selecting frames ... never an easy task.

The friendly service was experienced by all different staff members that I interacted with when getting my reading glasses. I was extremely impressed from the stunning shop and relaxed atmosphere through to the informative and caring staff. No need to go anywhere else in my opinion.
