Even though we live just down the road from this place, we rarely buy seafood from here as in the past I have found it so expensive. I decided to give it another shot, as I wanted to cook a special Birthday dinner for my husband. We bought our fish on a Saturday morning and got served straight away which is quite unusual. In the past we have had to wait for up to 20 minutes to get served. I felt the price of the fish on display was outrageous, but I had committed to cooking something special so paid it, but it will be awhile until I go back there again. I must admit I do like the set up of how they display the seafood and the range they have. They have any type of seafood for sale you can imagine including sushi, lobster and whole fish. I just don't think it's affordable for the weekly buy,

This is my childhood seafood eatery and it has only gotten better over time. They act as a 'fish and chip' shop with a varying range of seafood that they prepare and cook for you in addition to a wide range of fresh, raw seafood such as you would expect at a high-quality fish monger. This place is always busy and never fails to disappoint. Tables, shades and bins are provided and it is located next to a park, so it is the ideal place to take your own salad, bread, drinks, ANYTHING, for a big group to have a lovely relaxed meal together. Many a happy family and friend memory has been made here and while it is a little on the expensive side (averagw for seafood), it is well worth it!

I took my wife here for her birthday last November. I felt the service was a bit slow, and the food took a while. I was surprised that they charged so much for a main meal too. But, she chose to go there. She told me afterwards that it would have been better somewhere else. I agree. The food is good, but not really worth what you pay. Drinks aren't cheap either. I wouldn't go here again.

The tepanyaki bar is great fun but the Morgans Seafood Restaurant is overpriced and over rated. I went for lunch with a friend and they got both our drink order and our order wrong. The completely forgot our entree and bought out the main meal first. I don't mind paying for good food but when I received the bill for this lunch I nearly fell over. The food was ok but nothing exceptional. And the service was very average. Won't be back.

Looove Morgans, but if you're going on a public holiday that happens to be a beautiful fine day, prepare yourself for a wait or go early so you don't starve! Yesterday (Labour Day) we went there but the queue was out the door at 1pm. It was mayhem. Still, everyone was good humoured and the sun was shining so they did a brisk trade. We bought some fresh prawns and left to go elsewhere as we were too hungry to wait for the cooked foods.

There is plenty of seating outside where you can enjoy the sunshine or watch the sun go down. Staff are always flat out, testament to the quality they serve up.

We’ve eaten at some top notch places, some really classy and expensive, some more humble but absolutely amazing food. And sometimes you find a gem! Morgans Tepanyaki in the second section of the seafood restaurant leaves me with a comment like WOW! The elderly Japanese Chef we had, gave about 12 of us an experience we have had many times. But in this case, the food was equsite! I gotta say that a degustation meal in a restaurant in the Hunter Valley NSW is the best food ive eaten EVER. But This little Teppanyaki restaurant comes a very close second. Brilliant guys just BRILLIANT!

The most amazing seafood buffet in town. Fresh top quality superb seafood! It's not cheap but worth a special treat occasionally. Shame it only offers the discounted seafood buffet on a Thursday night.

We enjoyed a night out in the Tepanyaki Room and it was incredible. The food was amazing and the service even better. It is like a dinner and a show and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. What a wonderful night out.

The restaurant is great. Very nice meals although can be a bit expensive. The take-away section just along the road is excellent. Great cooked seafood and lots of lemon slices. Fresh seafood is always a go and it's great to eat in the nearby park overlooking the beautiful bay. Recommended.
