My pre-birth massages with Suzie allowed me to deeply nurture my growing body and to connect with my unborn baby. I remember during my first massage being taken on a gentle guided meditation where my baby and I floated together, connected by an umbilical cord. The massage was lying on my belly on the pregnancy cushion which was incredibly comfortable and relaxing. Suzie treated pain in my lower back. I always left my massage feeling unburdened from my fears, aches and pains.

My post birth recovery massage took me into a safe and healing space when I felt the most vulnerable. The massage was gentle and restorative and a sacred experience of caring for my body that had just traveled a huge journey. My birth experience was challenging and Suzie offered a safe space to share my story which was a big part of my healing process.

For weeks following the birth, I had discomfort and pain in my hip which extended around into my lower back and was aggravated when walking. I was unable to resolve this with visits to a physio and could not seem to pin point the issue. I described my pain to Suzie during my postnatal massage and she was able to locate the exact area which triggered my pain. She used deep massage and essential oils on my hip and back. Following my massage, I was amazed that I have had no issues or pain whatsoever with my hip and back. I have now been able to return to most of my pre-pregnancy activities.

Suzie openly shares her wealth of knowledge including essential oils, nutrition and other natural remedies. She goes beyond to research things that come up during treatments. For example, I lost a lot of blood during my birth and Suzie sent me research on how to build up my blood levels and grow stronger after birth. I came to Suzie for my first pregnancy in 2014. I was overdue and looking for strategies to help avoid a chemical induction. The moxa induction massage was incredible. I was transported into my own little cocoon and felt completely connected with my baby. I went into labor the next day and it wasn’t long after we met our son. I had the best massage in my life with Suzie! Your cushioning system was amazing on my pregnant tummy and the aroma of essential oils brought me miles away from the reality.
