Move 4 Cheap

Purposely they are taking things very slowly and want to consume more hours. One experienced men and other is trainee for my job , lot of teaching was going with trainee the whole time. Very disappointed.

Was expecting 2 men and a truck to move a few items. Got 2 men and a van. It took 2 trips and they sat around for an hr until I could get there to show them how the couch came apart. Most expensive move ever. Didn't respond to my feedback. Very unhappy

BYER BEWARE- NEVER USE MOVE 4 CHEAP- REMOVALISTS. They are dishonest, deliberately misleading , intimidating , con artists.Online booking information quoted $70.00 for two removalists - I booked and was quoted $115.00 ph. The booking was made for 9.00a.m. but they phoned to say they would arrive at 10.20am.
They unloaded the furniture but left it at top of drive instead of bringing it inside- they then demanded$385.00- when I refused and showed them the quote on my phone for $115.00 ph- job took about an hour and a half They informed me it was becuase there were steps the would charge $385.00 and unless i paid the would leave all the furniture out in the open for me to bring in mself. I live alone and am in m 70's and have mobility issues. On ringing the office I was told the had sent an e-mail which I had not seen as I beleived the sms phone message was the plan/contract .The e-mail said drivers charge extra for stairs- but no quote was given for how much they would charge for how many steps.
I had told them there were steps in the original booking , but was never given a quote for steps. I had no choice but to pay as my furniture would have been left outside open to the weather . The removalists were rude and intimidating and constantl gabbled away in Indian instead of speaking English.
A horrible experience all round - Do not use this awful firm.

Terrible removalists and terrible after care. Totally destroy your furniture and take no responsibility. Movers lie and make you sign forms but don’t explain what they are… Go elsewhere.

It’s a scam. They charge minimum 2 hours. Not the cheapest. And they don’t tell you this time you waste time booking.

THEY FAILED TO COLLECT MY GOODS, THEY NEVER CALLED ME AND THEN NEVER SHOWED UP WITH MY DELIVERY. I PAID THEM IN ADVANCE WHICH WAS A MISTAKE AND WHEN I CALLED THEM TO ASK WHERE MY DELIVERY WAY - THEY MADE 100 EXCUSES.

OVERCHARGED and I cant get answers.

I was overcharged $120 for a job that I have called about 12 times and I have also emailed without a resolution. I am constantly hung up on or told someone will call me back and they don't.

The last customer service person told me that I had to 'let him breathe and give him space' , when I told him I was tired of waiting on an answer and that I am not called back as promised. I asked if this was his idea of customer service and he said yes and hung up on me.

Move 4 Cheap are CROOKS in my eyes

They were also 3 days late picking up my things.
Excuse after Excuse why they were late. It was always me ringing them to chase up where they were.
The customer service from this lot is nothing like I have ever experienced.
Do not use this business.

You must be someone who is now looking to move interstate and searching the web for a cheap and best movers.. so ended up here reading review. I know what you are looking for as I was in the same states few weeks back and chose these guys. The biggest mistake I did.

Trust me these guys are definitely cheap but not the best.
If you are a person who does not have any costly furnitures and not worried of delays and u professionalism then go ahead this service suits. But if not... My sincere advice please go with a another service. As the difference in cost between this service and the best best one is not worth the stress and hassles.

On paper and call these guys seemed so professional so I went ahead with their service through findamover.com. everything seemed fine until the moving day... On the moving day the movers were 5 hrs late. In a unforseen event this delay is fine..But the reason they gave me was that they are picking up another customer. What is strange is why can they plan it ahead or at least not promise me a time. This caused so much trouble for me in terms of end of leases arrangements that I made before moving interstate. Worst of all they did not even have the courtesy to apologise. Later after arriving 5hrs late the moving guys were so unprofessional and expected me to move and help them... I was not really sure what is the norm as I was told that everything would be done by them. It took them a 4 hrs to just load everything into the truck.this was after me insisting multiple times that I had to start my journey to Melbourne early as I had a 8 month old baby.

And most important do not take their cot dismantle assembling​ service. First of all they are not experienced in and they do a [redacted offensive language] work breaking and leaving back screws and nuts. I had to run behind them to secure all those. I regret ability this service as I could have dismantled and assembled my bed. All that we wanted was a hassle free move as this was our first move interstate and had a 8 month old baby. I should have gone with other services which were a little expensive.i now realise what that additional $woudl have got me... A better experience with no strees.

Above all the customer care ([redacted name]) he is the worst.. I had no help or assistance whatsoever for any of my complaints. All that they care was only until I paid my booking deposit. All sweetness and professionalism ended after that. A consistent answer for all my concerns was "did you read the terms and conditions". Which I did a several times ( a lame 10 bullet points ).

Overall this is a pathetic service. My sincere advice is don't hesitate to pay a little more and get another service provider.

Worst experience possible! Organised a move interstate, ended up getting a call 2 hours after the scheduled pickup time saying they'd be 4 hours late. Arrived at 11:45PM, well and truly after a reasonable time; kept my family and neighbours up. Movers did not speak great English and were difficult to communicate with. Movers stopped moving the furniture when it started raining and left it all out in the open to get wet. Approximately $5000 worth of damage. DO NOT USE this business.

I booked an interstate move from Sydney with oz cheap removals.
I initially secured the booking for a Saturday, after I paid a deposit was told they don't have drivers available Saturday earliest the can do is the following Tuesday.

It seemed like they did a good job, I even tipped them.

I wasn't until the next day I was able to assess the damage.

I own a delta king storage couch purchased from king furniture.

The guys somehow broke the hydraulics on one of the couch, it opens but doesn't close any more, lost a candlelabra stand, lost some boxes and the navy blankets they use to cover my furniture left dye marks on my white entertainment unit.

Insurance protection for lost or damaged items was included in the the price they quoted me.

I complained to them about it, was told the feedback form/jobsheet (As they refer to it as), that I was asked to fill out had an indemnity clause in it which wavers the insurance protection & that the drivers said my couch was already broken before leaving Sydney which is a blatant lie.

I disputed this as the divers misrepresented the form. They finally agreed to send someone to inspect the couch & pay for the repairs.

Each day we scheduled a time they kept canceling, & on the phone agreed to send me a copy of the jobsheet I filled out and never send!

I have lodged a complaint with the fair trading.

Their prices may be affordable but they're are very careless! Save yourself the trouble & choose an Australian company who actually operate lawfully.

I have used this business to move from White Gum Valley. They not only treated my stuff with care they also msade me aware of stuff not being packed p-roperly and the fact that they could do that for me. I will forever move with these guys for sure !

We used move4cheap.com.au to move our 3bedroom town house.
Great experience to deal with. Very friendly and polite. Took a good care of my stuff.

Recommended.

i had recently moved from greensborough to hawthorn. i was moving my stuff (bedroom furniture etc). these guys did a fantastic job . really impressed with their way of handling things and they were very well behaved. they moved everything quickly and very securely. i was really impressed with the quality i got for such a cheap price.
highly recommended for everyone who has value for time and money.....
