We found Mr V after searching the Internet for local carport builders. They emailed a free estimate based on a quick telephone survey. This explained the price range and the next steps (site inspection, contacting Council and comprehensive quotation). We were also encouraged to view their comprehensive website which showed photos of their work.
Craig arrived on time and proposed a design to blend in with our house. He also answered many questions about the different roof types and pitches, comparing brick supports to timber ones, including a ceiling, the building sequence, submitting the plans to the Council, building inspections, and guarantees. We phoned several recent customers who all gave high praise for their dealings with Mr V. This gave us the confidence to proceed.
Mr V regularly emailed to inform us which stage we were up to. The builders worked efficiently and tidied up each day. The inspector was impressed both with the accurate framework construction and subsequent completed job. The carport leaked during the first major rain. Mr V came to inspect it and repaired it promptly. It appears the leak occurred where they had replaced a rotten fascia board on our house. They sealed the gap and it's been fine since.
The neighbours have all congratulated us on how well the carport looks. Overall we have been very impressed with the professionalism, accuracy and customer service and would highly recommend Mr V to others.

I had my flat roof verandah replaced with a gable style roof. From start to finish my experience with Mr.Verandah was excellent. They did a very professional job and even totally cleaned my job site. To say that I'm happy with the outcome is an understatement.

We had Mr V build us a new verandah and timber decking. We settled for Mr V because of their excellent customer service skills; Craig was on time for all appointments, spent a considerable amount of time chatting with us about options and designs, showed us lots of helpful pictures and gave us the impression he really liked his job. This was unlike the other companies/carpenters we tried to engage who either didn't show up for appointments or were in a hurry to leave during the quoting process. The build team Marcus and Cooper were very efficient and skilfull. Chris is a fair-minded businessman, willing to consider and fixed a couple of issues we had. We would highly recommend Mr Verandah to anyone. Love the work they did for us. :)
