Mucho's Mexican Restaurant

I just paid about $11 for a take away dip that came in a tiny small round dip container with no lid. I finished the dip on only 5 of the millions of corn chips given. The container was less than a third full. The container has a 7cm diameter, it is 4cm deep. The dip filled 1.5cm. Absolutely ripped off and disgusted.

Very nice food. gets busy... but for good reason. Have tried about 50% of the menu and nothing bad yet. Only down side is how noisy it gets when it is busy

The food is really bland, no taste of spices like coriander or cumin at all. The servers payed attention to large groups and ignored smaller tables. Overall a disappointment.

we went here for my friends 40th,had a lovely night and was greeted by friendly staff,the burritos were beautiful and overall i thought it was very reasonably priced

Love this place, Cantina nights Mondays and Wednesday are is the best value for money anywhere! The food is cooked fresh and always tastes good, some nights (chefs) are better than others but I have been eating here for over 5years and will continue to do so for as long as the food is good!

Really lovely restaurant with tasty chicken dishes; it's definately my favourite Mexician restaurant.
Although it's usually full (the sign of good food) it's always so easy to make reservations and never a problem to be served as the staff are polite, friendly and helpful which adds to the great atmosphere.

We dined here whilst on a trip to Newcastle and as far as Mexican goes found it pretty average. There was nothing wrong with the food and service, but we also didn't find it anything special. Usually when we travel we get Mexican somwehere and many othrs places I've found a favourite dish that makes me want to revisit, here I just thought the food tasted okay. One thing I didn't like was that they sat us near to the front door which wasn't closed and it was very cold.

Spiced chicken & almond in a flour tortilla, cooked with Chilli con Queso sauce. Topped with Guacamole & sour cream with Aztec Salad & Saffron Rice

I Loveee Mucho's! It's always busy which provides a good atmosphere. The food is fantastic and there is a wide variety to choose from. Best of all, you don't have to wait long for your meal.

This is by far our favourite restaurant - it is always a memorable experience, with consistently brilliant service and even better food. The combos are great value and all meals that we have had have been first class - have always been disappointed when we try to find a comparable Mexican restaurant between Brisbane and Canberra! We always drop in when we have a chance! Love you Mucho's!

Fantastic food, excellent value especially on Monday and wednesday nights half price combo night. Always very busy which is a very good sign of a great restaurant, so you have to book. Staff are very friendly and don"t have to wait long for your meal.

Great food! A huge variety of authentic Mexican food, and the combination plates are awesome! Get a little bit of everything. Very crowded most of the time so bookings are a must, but service is still extremely fast and friendly.

Monday special nights are fantastic, great meals and really cheap the the size and yummy! Gets really busy though so bookings are needed. Great atmosphere

We have been here a few time and the atmosphere is always pleasant and the staff friendly. Make sure that you book as its always busy, and the food is lovely.

If you like great tasting Mexican food then this is the place to go! Just watch your plate as the food certainly comes out hot!!! :) The staff are terrific, friendly, helpful & tentative. The atmosphere is very romantic with the whole restaurant decked out in colourful nostalgic posters, sombrero's, matador capes etc. The lighting is low & very romantic with candles at every table. The music can be a little loud at times but still allows for great conversations at your table & stops the table next to you from listening in to your conversations easily.

The price is decent, meaning that it isn't cheap but it isn't expensive either! I belive it to be suitably priced! :) They have specials nights that make it a great cheap night out too. My favourite is called "Cantina" nights that allow you to get combination meals at close to half the price they are normally. They also have other special's nights on through the week...so call & give them a go...you won't regret it! Oh & don't forget to try their Sangria but much sure you have a sober driver on hand to ensure a safe night for all.
