Mundaring Seafoods

I am only commenting on this for when the previous owners (pete and family) owned it! They were the BEST! always did the best job and always made sure their customers were happy! Brilliant service and Brilliant food! Shame it was handed over to a bunch of half wits!

Since the new owners have taken over I have been twice. The first time it was really lovely, the fish cooked perfectly and the chips were freshly cooked. The second time, it was at 5.00pm (their opening time) and I had rung to pre-order the food. Carrying the parcels out to the car, grease dripped down from the paper on to my clothes!! Not just a drop either. When we ate the food at home, the chips tasted stale and tough, as if they had been left over from the day before and then reheated. The fish was sloppy and extremely greasy. I will hesitate to go back. The place has since closed (and are we surprised?), and a music shop has taken its place. So. no fish and chips for Mundaring any more, how sad!

This fish and chip shop has recently changed owners so we decided to buy fish and chips from them to see what it was like. The fish was very thin and greasy. The chips did not have very much salt on them at all. It was quite disappointing and the service was good.

Average fish and chip shop, they seem to put too much salt on everything, fish is tasty, service is average, ordinary seating area inside, they do kebabs too, heard they are good but i've never tried them
