I got my first bass from Swop Shop. Great range and a price for everyone. Everything from cheaper to top end and vintage guitars. The staff are all very knowledgeable and happy to help. Prices are good, worth checking out if you kid is looking to pick up a new instrument. You can probably get something better quality for a lower price second hand.
If there's something you've been hunting down, they can put you on a mailing list for when it comes in.

always worth a visit as you never know what you'll find in stock. The Swap Shop deal in used musical instruments, etc & most stock is left on consignment so if you don't like the asking price you can always make an offer. In any case you will leave knowing you got a fair deal. There's also a good repairman on site too

What can be said about this institution other than its a gem! You name it they have it here as far as musical instruments of old and obscure! Sell your old equipment on consignment, pick up a bargain or simply spend hours browsing! I love it and you will too!
