Just had our Volvo Suv serviced for automatic transmission here. A very fair price was charged compared with dealer price. I like to have this done more often than the recommended time from manufacturer. In fact, it is necessary as the fluid was very dirty and needed changing.

I drove 1 - 1.5 hours each way to get to these guys and it was totally worth it.

Jervis Ford Hillcrest said it'll cost me around $4000 to fix up and they'll need my car for 1-2 weeks. In fact they weren't even going to do the work themselves. They'll charge $1800 to remove and replace the transmission and send it off to someone else. Then the other company will charge me whatever they wanted on top.

Michael from MV automatics treated me very well. He explained everything as soon as he realised the problem. He provided me with a hire car at no cost to me.
He rang me up early to say that he expects it won't cost me more than $1500, and in the end he only charged $1140.
He did the entire job in just two days!
