The guys from NW Freight recently moved the contents of our house. They were professional & timely.
They were very careful with our belongings and no damage was sustained.

What I first was looking for quotes there were many who did not respond right away Fran responded with in about an hour and had a good quote up and ready to go. Overtime she kept in constant communication and we booked out a quote for Noel to come out. He was amazing and decided to go with NW freight. they were amazing all round and ended up going well above and beyond as we had run out of time to pack everything so as we went they just helped with the last few little things they were here on time left on time good to talk to can't really fault anything they did. Maybe Noel needs to listen to me though and grab that bubble wrap for Fran * inside joke *thank you guys for making a move seamless and really helping during a stressful time cannot recommend highly enough.

Small family business. Easy to contact and talk to. Loads of knowledge and experience. Very competent and calming at every level which helps heaps at house moving time which can be stressful. We did a major move from rambling old 7 roomed home plus cellars n big garden in Adelaide hills to near seaside. Much culling in between but we still had one full truck of plants from crates of small stuff to potted big stuff - Wollami pine, bamboo, Buddha pine n more and one very full truck of possessions that we moved over 2 separate days. Noel did a very adequate walk around of what had to be moved and gave a fair and accurate quote. He even helped the Salvation army collector get 2 sturdy sofas out of the house n onto truck!
Fran was always helpful and informative when we phoned the company.
Mark and Peter did an amazing job of uploading and unloading our plants and possessions including much fragile stuff. They worked steadily through each day with lots of reassuring calm and a dash of gentle humour.

Noel and Fran were fantastic........ making a stressful move from Melbourne to Victor harbor very easy and comfortable, I highly recommend them and will use them if I ever need to move again

Ask for a detailed quote and invoice before going ahead, be very clear with pick up and drop off times and the costs for these. I found Noel to be flexible and helpful fitting in my move from Melbourne to Adelaide which I was grateful for but when the move was nearly half the size of what had been recorded on their end (not sure how this happened) there was no reduction in the amount I was charged. Noel wasn't able to explain why this was so suggesting it was due to it being dropped off on a different day other than what he preferred. This situation was a disappointing end to an otherwise good experience.

When Noel and Zach turned up in their supersized truck they were so friendly and organised. They went out of their way to help me with any issues during the move. They took the greatest care with my goods and secured them well in the truck with everything arriving in good order! Noel and his colleagues truly did a good job and I couldn’t recommend him more. His business is family owned and you feel like you’re being treated as such like an individual and not another number.
Noel rang me straight after I went to seek comparison of quotes and was able to do the job on very short notice and deliver shortly afterwards. I also appreciated the gesture of him calling us by phone as opposed to sending a half hearted email.
He really moved mountains for us and took the stress out of everything.
Also, all our goods were well looked after and in good nick!
