Moved interstate from Canberra. One of the cheapest quotes. And also surprisingly cheap packing quote (which I didn't use, but should have).

I am guessing that the lower price is because of lots of experience in determining cubic metre usage during home visit. While I was packing, they gave me some extra boxes when I ran out, which was appreciated.

On the day, I was still in the midst of packing (there's always more than you think. And then some more). But movers were polite and worked around that.

The delivery (too far to be done on the same day, so done on the following day) was also well done. Suggest that if you have really nice stuff, to go with others. But I just had a medium amount of non-fancy stuff. And this moving mob was just what I needed.

I have recently moved house locally within Canberra, and after obtaining few quotes chose National Capital Removals. What made them stand out from the start was not only a competitive quote, but what I value most - excellent and friendly customer service, reducing the huge stress arising from organising the house move all by myself. Initially, I did not request packing; however when realized that I had over-estimated my time and physical capacity to pack everything by myself and asked them to pack the kitchen for me in the last moment - they were happy to accommodate my late request on the day of the move.

We moved over 50 cubic metres of items from Sydney with 2 pickup locations into a apartment with stairs and these guys were efficient and did not waste any time getting it done. We had previously moved from the Gold Coast with the same stuff and the last removalists whinged constantly about how heavy our items were (we do have some bulky and heavy glass furniture) and took hours longer to load the truck. National Capital removals got the job done and made it look easy. They took less time to get the job done and had a good sense of humour doing it which lightened a stressful situation. We intend on using this company again for future moves.
We were concerned at first as they are a small company but I guess sometimes you just get better service this way.

Angie and her team at N Capital Removals did an excellent job with finally delivering my house contents.
They were professional from the start; kept me informed regularly as to the status of the job(they had to take over the job from another Company based in Adelaide not completing their work); were prompt, quick and safe on the date of delivery as well.

Used these guys only once, but were happy with the job they did. They showed up on time & the guys got down to work very quickly & had the trucks packed up in what seemed like almost no time. Very professional, efficient, & skillful; we didn't move interstate, but even so, all our furniture/goods arrived in fine condition which was great.
