Nine Taiwanese Dessert House 九份ç??å?

A bit on the expensive side but portions are big. If you just had a meal, you might not be able to finish the dessert! Good for sharing, preferred the mango over matcha shaved ice.

Similar to Dessert Story, but I like the portions here as they are slightly bigger. Also, some desserts on the menu are cheaper than DS

Dessert was good and good value, but the drinks were a little bit bland on my visit.
I had the Snow Ice No.3 Red Bean Matcha - this featured a jasmine jelly, shaved matcha snow ice with syrup, a scoop of matcha ice cream and some sweet red beans. It was generously portioned and really nice how the flavours all complemented each other despite the differences in taste & texture.
Not so good however were the drinks. The sago/pearl milk teas were a bit bland, lacking both sweetness, thickness and flavour. It was also served without ice - which I usually prefer, b/c ice means less actual drink - however in this instance the drink itself was not chilled, so it just meant a bland, watery drink served at room temperature.

a very very good taiwanese dessert place. heard they opened in february and saw some bad reviews then. but i can say that they have improved tremendously since i really enjoyed and absolutely love their dessert! came here by chance on my 1st day in melbourne and when back there for my last day. try anything and everything! they serve meals as well as dessert.
didnt try their meal so not sure how it is. try their grass jelly dessert!!
