We had a really wonderful Christmas with our family next door (what a find!). The fresh bread and eggs to start our stay was much appreciated, as were all the other items so kindly supplied. It is a real 'escape to the country'; however so close to all the local amenities. The morning birdsong is special and a lovely start to the day. We will be back! Many thanks.

Thanks for everything Susie and Ken, we had a lovely relaxing stay again for the start of our holiday. Still didn't see the Possum, but heard him !! Lovely waking up to the birdsong every morning. Ken and Susie make beautiful bread, provide a comfortable stay, assisting with printing emails and we are very grateful for the use of the place. Great 4 weeks - used as transfer home from Darwin until permanent housing found. Has everything you need and free to wander around ground - great for kids. Made welcome from the very first night with some hot bread and some other basics on arrival.

We have spent here a week and it has been a great time. The accomodation was clean and there was a lot of space for the whole family. Our kids loved the huge garden and we enjoyed the fact that it's never really hot in the house. Susie and Ken were very kind so overall the stay was great and the place recommandable.

We have stayed here with my 6 year old daughter and had a great time. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and the setting very relaxing.They were very helpful , showed us the area and did everything to make our stay fabulous. Highly recommend this vacation rental.

We stayed here while visiting Queensland over Christmas and were made very welcome. The flat is very clean and comfortable and has everything you need for either a short or long stay. It's the perfect place to come back to after either a day at the beach or sightseeing.

Where do we start? What an excellent place to stay – we couldn't of hoped for anything better. Ken and Susie are the perfect hosts and the location is great, being so close to the Bruce Highway but still in a rural setting. The flat has everything you need and if you find something is missing then Susie will most likely have it (we needed stain remover for a t-shirt)! The flat is very clean and comfortable and the bed is almost too comfy (but there is no time to sleep in when there is sightseeing to do). The welcome pack is just that after many hours of travelling. The first thing we wanted before setting off to find the shops was a brew, after all the unpacking of course.

We hope to return to Australia in the future and won't hesitate to make another booking here. I can't praise them enough. Thank you for letting us in to your home.

We needed somewhere central to Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. This was by-far the most affordable, convenient, and best quality accommodation in the nearby area and beyond.

Upon arrival Susie and Ken provided us with a Welcome Pack with fresh baked bread, marmalade, butter, coffee and tea plus more - which was very welcomed after a long drive with children and not wanting to have to head to the shops.

The local Supermarket is in Narangba, only two minutes drive or twenty minutes walk, and is fully stocked with the necessities. There is a Westfield ten minutes drive down the highway for anything else.

The kitchen is completely stocked with the equipment you would need for a weeks stay. Microwave, Decent size fridge, Oven and Stove, Washing Machine, Cups, Plates, Cutlery, Baking pans, Wok... you name it, Susie and Ken have thought to include it. They even went to the trouble, without request, of going out to buy a high chair for our use and child locks for the kitchen cupboards to make sure we were comfortable.

The other important stuff; Soft towels. Very comfortable bed. New / clean fittings. Some Aromatherapy soap, made by Susie, was a nice touch in the bathroom.

For those with kids, Narangba has a brilliant, secure playground only two minutes drive from the home-stay.

I will recommend this home-stay to anyone looking for accommodation in the area, and look forward to returning soon.

We recommend North Brisbane Home-stay for its comfort and hospitality. Ideal for holidays and migration transitional stay. The hosts were very friendly and the flat has all you need for a comfortable stay. It certainly was an excellent start point for our adventure (migration) down under. Thank you.

North Brisbane Homestay provided us with lovely accommodation during our visit to Queensland.
The apartment was extremely clean, tidy and well equipped, with everything you could need. The owners Susie and Ken were very helpful and made us feel welcome. They offered advice on good places to visit and helped ensure we got the most out of our time in Queensland. A great welcome pack was provided when we arrived which provided things like bread, cereal and milk, it was lovely.
The location was ideal too, close enough to city if you wanted to head there and between an hour to two hours from the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. It was a great base to travel and explore up and down the coast and lovely and homely to return to after a days exploring!

We spent a week here and it was just perfect. Everything is brand new and extremely clean and we were made to feel very welcome. Unlike a B&B we had our own space and fully self contained accommodation. The rural setting is very peaceful and we couldn't recommend it highly enough. It was seriously good value and for the price I expected something not nearly as good. We will be back for sure as it allowed us to easily visit family in Brisbane but also explore the sunshine coast and its stunning hinterland. My wife would also highly recommend the very professional and excellent value Bowen Therapy massage provided by Susie.

We thought this was a lovely house, spacious and very comfortably fitted out, and in a great location. The hosts were very welcoming and made sure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. We'd have no problem highly recommending this as a great value home stay location for exploring Brisbane and the surrounding areas.
