I wouldn't recommend Motorserve Liverpool. 3 hours for an E safety inspection and 2 rear tyres plus wheel alignment. Was not informed they were taking my car elsewhere to get the tyres put on. Very deceitful and unapologetic. Never go there again. Used to be a great place but since change of ownership all down hill. Plus they were not busy in workshop. Says it all.
Approximate cost: $380
Well I wanted to give an honest review of my experience, but going by the previous reviews, looks like I need not say more.
I have enough evidence now, to take them to fair work for compensation.
Though, I should say, my experience in the last 2 years was quite reasonable, but since a management change recently, have had terrible experience with both my cars.
They seem to be finding faults on my car that I do not even know exists. My car had a minor issue, but I was told it needs big job done.
Being a woman, taking care of my car, I just took my car keys and drove away. I would not recommend it
I had to get a safety inspection done for my car, this failed and they charged me 482 dollars to get ALL the wheels replaced. That's fine. THEN when I get back home the hand brake no longer is in good working condition and after over 8 yrs with my car, the car starts rolling back with the handbrake already up. The steeringwheel is loose and the entire experience costing me nearly 500. Do yourself a favor do not go here.. they are extremely dodge! Lets see how much they will charge me now to fix an issue they caused... absolutely ridiculous for something that should have been a no brainer!! I have a Yaris 2007 model with 80,000K on it.
Approximate cost: $452
OH in addition they STILL FAILED my e-Safety Check - COMPLETE and utter ridiculous! Now I have to wait for them to do the only job that they were paid to do is send the information to RTA that it is road worthy.
my goodness that is terrible, thanks for your review
I never walk away from NRMA experiences too happy. I have often had my car 'repaired' or 'serviced' and found the problem not actually solved at all a few days later. The biggest flaw, in my opinion, is their diagnostics are often too quick, and don't solve much.
Ok guys, I sort of knew what I was talking about, done my research, rang them asked the price up front, took my own part in and all done, easy as, the key to any mechanical experience is to do your own research, we saved over 200 by doing it this way, the nrma were fantastic, they offered tea, coffee, chip machine & bathrooms, so u r comfy if u wanted to wait,
Approximate cost: $150.00
Paid 550 for service and small electronic component that would have cost 300 elsewhere. Just make sure you do your research before you agree to anything. Also I wasn't a NRMA member so I guess that made things a lot more expensive.
Approximate cost: $550
top people work at this place their work is excellent and prices are reasonable specially if your an NRMA member. the staff are very friendly and the place is the cleanest car repair place you will ever find. highly recommended
“Did some google research and first spoke to these guys about sorting out my”…
“I take my car here for servicing, they've done everything I've asked, always”…
