Remedial Massage – Remedial Massage is designed to improve the condition of muscles, tendons and tissue. It utilises the body’s own healing system that allows the body to correct and heal via releasing trigger points.  With proper stretching and resistance techniques, remedial massage can also improve muscle function and alleviate various aches and pains.
 

Deep Tissue Massage – Deep Tissue massage is a technique that hones in on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.  It is designed to release tension throughout the body using various slow strokes and deep finger pressure. It works by following or going across muscle fibres, tendons and fascia.
 

Soft Tissue / Myofascial Massage  – Soft Tissue Massage is designed to treat the tissues that connect, support or surround other structures and organs of the body. It utilises something called myofascial release that uses deep long strokes to stretch soft tissue to help alleviate stiffness surrounding muscles and improve scare tissue.

Cupping - Clinical suction cups assist with reverse pressure on areas of pain and discomfort. Working with the chinese theory of shifting and moving blood stagnation to improve blood circulation and balancing of Ying and Yang.
 

Mums Massage – We also provide Mums Massage Therapy specifically designed for mothers with babies. With muscoskeletal pain being a common problem among mothers, specialised remedial massage therapy is an excellent way to get your body back on track after birth. 
This means Mums can get a relaxing massage and have their bub close by.
 

Therapeutic / Hot Stone Massage – Hot stone massage combine light to firm strokes along with hot stones that allow heat to penetrate the muscle and support the healing process. This is particularly useful when deep pressure is not desirable or recommended. 

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM REMEDIAL MASSAGE TREATMENT
 

Initial Session The initial session is designed to collate your medical history alongwith a patient’s various complaints. This is all done during an initial consultation that is meant to create a proposed plan to help you with treatment.
 

On-Going Sessions – As treatment is carried out, further evaluation and assessment is conducted. This way, various improvements and adjustments can be made to make sure the patient gets the best treatment possible.
