recently a group of adults and our kids had a leisurely afternoon in lovely williamstown and were after a quick dinner.

our respective families ordered fish and chip packs which were enough to satisfy our hunger.

i found the fish to be cooked crunchy enough, the serve of chips was plentiful for us 3.

i do love fish and chips but found the chips to lack a certain something ... maybe its the oil used? i am not saying this is criticism but as mere opinion of my taste buds.

flake was a good portion.
good thing is you can sit at down at the table in the court yard and relax ... or go across the road to the park for your fish and chip fix.

EFTPOS/card facility is available which is great!

one of the biggest fish and chipperies i've ever been to! really nice place great location close to the waterfront

had flakes and hot chips and they were quite good, prices were above average but worth it given the quality and service

This place is amazing! Would have to be the best fish and chips I've had in years! Definitely not the greasy meal that you usually get with fish and chips. Light crisp batter and the tastiest freshest seafood! we're lucky to have them in Willi!! Nice friendly staff too!

Tables were dirty and very sticky but the Fish and Chips were the best ever. I was even accommodated for my gluten intolerance with a light, flaky non-fried fish. The chips were fried in a light oil and were some of the best I've ever had.

Approximate cost: $16

I went to Off the Pier Fish and Chippery last week, and was pleasantly surprised.
The lady at the register was great, she informed me of the types of fish ( I'm from overseas) and even showed me what they looked like. :)
Their gluten free chips were amazing, not greasy or soggy like others I've tried.
Definitely a cute little shop to check out!!
