Terrible experience at this bar.
My parents order was missed and when we enquired about it it still did not come out. Multiple orders that were placed after theirs came out and still no sign of our parents order. No apology for the stuff up and no offer of a drink or anything of that nature. The rest of our table finished eating and STILL their order had not come out.
At this point we went to speak to the manager. The person at the register kept talking over the top of us as we were trying to ask about it claiming they’re “very busy” - no empathy at all. We asked to speak to the manager multiple times who refused to speak with us. We waited at the bar for 15min to speak to the manager who clearly just ignored us hoping we would give up and leave.
Finally 1 worker took a moment to speak to us and offered a refund.

Terrible management. It would have taken the manager less than 5minutes to speak with us and offer a solution but instead he chose to be ignorant and rude.

Never been treated so badly. Do not recommend. 0 stars.

Very much like a local tavern, complete with smokers smoking just outside the front entrance. Hold your breath when going in. I ordered calamari which was nice, freshly cooked but not an outstanding flavour. Had a mojito cocktail which tasted like battery acid. When I wrote a complaint email, I got a very personal reply but essentially just 'try our other cocktails!'. I told them that for a mojito to be a mojito it had to at least have a slice of lime and a bit of mint... neither were present and served in a MARTINI glass! If they want to do a variation on a drink like a mojito, don't *call* it a mojito!

On plus side, the lunch service was PACKED but very efficient service and food was out to us in 10 mins!

Approximate cost: $25

This is a pretty good spot for lunch if you're out on the weekend shopping along Scarborough Beach Road. They serve standard pub fare. We had the works burgers which were huge and great value but the patties were seriously overdone and burnt in parts. The venue could do with a sprucing up (especially the interior). It's counter service. The staff are friendly and work to get the meals out fast.

This rating is based on a pub menu type experience.. This extended my expectations and was a very tasty lunch.. Although the pub is a little old the food was well presented and tasty.. Staff were very friendly.. if you are phased about the views or surrounding patrons .. this is a good place to eat..

Service, good. atmosphere, good. Food, good. In fact everything about our dining experience was what you'd expect at a pub, we all left full and satisfied, the prices were ok, and there were no complaints. If you go on a weekend tho, it pays to book

A satisfactory experience. We had burgers and they were tasty and freshly made. Chips were crunchy as they should be. Bar staff were friendly and helpful and food service was prompt. no ambience however. Their balcony overlooks bustling Scarborough Beach Road, a commercial area.
