Panda Man & Truck

Long story: Almost a year ago (November 2016), two movers extensively damaged our furniture. They scratched a leather sofa, ruined a partition in a cube bookcase, left a bloodstain on our new mattress, pulled the threading on a sofabed, scratched and dented a wooden desk, dented a washing machine and somehow managed to put major scratches and dents in our refrigerator (amongst other damages). They also chipped the paint in our home which had been freshly painted.
When we asked for our possessions to be repaired through their insurance, noting with relief that their website stated they were "fully insured", a business representative subsequently advised us that this insurance only related to their public liability and truck insurance and did not extend to our possessions (I've since learned through Consumer Affairs Victoria that this is a load of rubbish). He agreed to refund the $382 we'd paid for his service.
Weeks passed and still no sign of our money. After much to-ing and fro-ing, the business representative reneged on his agreement to refund us, so we lodged a claim with VCAT. The hearing date came and the business representative did not show up. In his absence, the VCAT Member ordered Panda Man and Truck to repay us the $1,300 it would cost us to repair our furniture.
The business representative has refused to comply with this Order, so I have lodged a claim with the Magistrates Court to have the VCAT Order enforced. By now he is also liable for all costs incurred through the process.
The business representative has been rude, dishonest and downright painful to deal with. It is not too much to ask that your furniture retains its condition upon being moved. Do NOT use this service.

Van was 1.5 hour late and when we called the owner we were informed that they are based in the city and can't do much about it. Guys who came to move us were very efficient and professional. Frame of our bed was broken in the process of moving and when we called the office and spoke to owner we were informed that he "guarantees" it wasn't them and he can do nothing about it. so not sure what the insurance cover is for. So generally speaking: the owner has good people working for him but he himself is a rude unprofessional guy who simply doesnt care.

So easy to book when i rang, the time frame was extremely quick. I didn't have to follow up they met me there as organised with only one phone call. i had antique items of high value and they looked after them to a very high standard. best value for money i have spent in removalists to date.

Fantastic service, great attitude and would highly recommend. They were fast and considerate with all goods.

From start to finish these guys took really good care of us. I was really impressed on their honest evaluation of all our items. When the removal team showed up they really packed everything professionally and everything arrived without any damage and in good condition.

Moving house on a 40 degree was a challenge for me....let alone the guys from Panda Man & Truck!! They arrived on time, were friendly, courteous, helpful and did a great job on such a HOT day up two flights of stairs. I was initially concerned as only one Panda Man arrived, but after a phone call, he was able to get assistance. Moving the contents of a two bedroom unit was done effectively, although I'm not sure why they didn't utilise a trolley more up the stairs to my new apartment. It took a little longer than I thought, but factoring in the stairs and trying to get a long couch into the apartment ate up some time. I would definitely recommend these guys. I received a 10% WOMO discount and a reduced rate for the first hour as there was only one Panda Man.

Movers are courteous and polite (unlike the one that we used to hire which are a little snobbish :( ) they worked as they have advertise. They efficiently carry your furniture with utmost care ( we have watched the entire operation, not that we don't trust them, but to assure all the things are properly carried). We will definitely use their service again.

Overall, Panda Man and Truck is your-go-to company when it comes to moving and relocation. :)

Dion had great communication and arrived right on time. They promptly moved all of our big furniture efficiently and carefully out of our first floor apartment until nothing else could fit into the expertly packed truck! I would definitely use Panda Man and Truck for our next move.

Just bear in mind that they charge in half an hour installments if they go overtime.

Moved a range of personal belongings from storage to new home.Arrived on time, both guys were friendly and helpful and loaded all our things securely.

Perfectly on time ..Knew the back streets in our locality..
Offered to help arrange the couch when back at mine..
All in all would recommend to everyone, Will definitely be using for all our moving needs in the future.
