We have recently moved to the area and had to find a local vet. Parkdale Vets were the closest so we went there. We will not be going back. The receptionist was SO rude and uncommunicative and then the vet, who never even introduced himself, gave our pets the most cursory examination - didn't look at any of the notes from our previous vet that we had emailed through, didn't remember to check out the one thing I mentioned I was concerned about with our dog, gave them both their vaccination, wasn't keen on giving them their worming tablet - wanted to send it home with us, but I said I'd not be able to give it to them, so he said he could 'try' to give it to them, which he did successfully, but it didn't fill me with confidence and then sent us on our way. I am all for the elders of our community continuing to work, but if you are not confident any longer in giving a simple tablet, or interested in doing a thorough job and connecting with the pets and their owners - then have some integrity and retire. I would hate to have gone there with a sick pet or in an emergency - it was most definitely not a safe, nurturing, caring or capable environment or service.

Peter and all of the staff are amazing. Always explain what us happening. Never recommend unnecessary treatment. Recently my cat had to attend an out of hours facility and Peter followed up results of tests and patiently answered my many questions on the phone. I would always recommend Peter and his fantastic team.

Why would anyone recommend - people might be 'nice' but due to undiagnosed heart disease, and serious lung, liver problems my adored beautiful little dog died last week.

Dr Peter is the best vet and i trust no-one else with my beloved pet dog. He has a calming influence on my over excited pet who loves the liver treats he always gets. Also have to mention Michelle a welcoming vet nurse who seems to have a unbelieveable memory for not just human names but knows the names of their pets too. Her easy manner and sexy smile helps to forget why I there :)

Great service and excellent opening hours. Best of all is Michelle the vet nurse who has a great manner and is so sweet and kind with the animals, her knowledge is also amazing (pity she isn't a vet as well :-) I like that they send yearly update notices for vaccinations etc too.

This business has drop-in hours where no appointment is necessary. This works well for me. The veterinarian is extremely gentle and gains the trust of he animal he is tending.
