I very highly recommend Paul Fell and his staff at Forest Lake if you are looking to buy new specs or need an eye test.

I have been wearing spectacles for over 20 years now and I have visited several leading optometrists in Brisbane's western suburbs over the years. Most of the time I have needed to send new glasses back for re-making because the optometry staff just can't seem to get the measurements correct between eye pupils with the result that when viewing something or reading fine print it seems slightly blurry. When you cover one eye and get the fine print very clear then move the cover to the other eye it was blurry until I moved my head and refocussed. In other words the focussing spots on each lens were not aligned correctly for my eyes. Almost every pair of glasses I have ever bought have needed to be redone to correct this error.
However I have now purchased 4 pairs of glasses from Paul Fell over the last 3-4 years (TV glasses, general vision multi-focals, prescription sunglasses etc) and every pair has been spot-on first time. I am really pleased with the quality of workmanship by Paul and his staff. They are all lovely people too by the way.

THE LEVEL OF SERVICE HAS BEEN THOROUGH & EXCEPTIONAL!!! From the initial phone call, to the appointment, the pre-testing done before the main eye exam, throughout the examination, then the choosing of the frames, the after appointment updates when each pair of glasses arrived, through to the fitting and then the follow up as to how my new glasses and I were getting along.

Each member of staff and Paul himself were friendly and everyone did their best for me. I highly recommend them for your family's eyecare needs.

4 people in my family wear specs / contacts. They have always been great from the initial eye tests, bulk billed through medicare, through to frame selection and after sales service. I was particularly impressed with the care and attention they gave us when we had to fit our 9 month old son with specs. We pop in, on an almost weekly basis for adjustments and repairs ( babies eat their glasses, feed them to the dog, throw them out the pram and sit on them regularly ). Nothing is ever a problem, everyone is friendly, informative and professional.

Paul is a very thorough optometrist with a caring friendly manner. I would recommend him to anyone.

These guys are awesome, Paul is very thorough and very nice to deal with, my little boy has been in glasses since before he was 3 years old and Paul was great with him... they are very lovely to deal with and my shy boy is very happy to go along... repairs are very fast & I can't recommend them enough!
