I chose to use Paul’s business to repair and replace my 36 100x100mm gal posts that had deteriorated in the last 10 years. After contacting other re-stumping companies, some were too busy to quote, too disinterested to reply, or too expensive. Paul on the other hand made the effort to come and quote promptly and explained their methods of work procedure, time frame and various other questions we had.
From the time Mark & Jimmy arrived, we felt very at ease with their work ethics and personality’s. We were kept in the loop throughout the whole five days it took to either replace completely half the posts, or repair the rest of them to the highest quality. Mark checked the levels of our 75 yr old house and adjusted the posts accordingly so all the doors and windows worked fine. Inside we have single skin VJ boards as walls, and none have opened up or shown a gap. Everyday the men took away the days rubble and left everything neat and tidy. The concrete was rounded off so as to avoid water pooling and the driveway slab patched nicely where it was cut back.
Yes, we highly recommend Paul and his men if you are after and top job, not the cheapest, but there’s no substitute for quality.

He spent a great deal of time talking through the options available, willingly shared his knowledge and expertise of working with older homes like my own and together with Mark, ensured my quote for work covered absolutely everything I needed and requested at a very competitive price.
Connor, Jimmy, Noel and Mark arrived early each day and are a friendly, professional and very skilled team who completed the planned work while ensuring I was updated at every stage. They were especially helpful with providing assistance with ensuring all aspects of the house (windows, doors, bathroom facilities) were all working and spent time fixing any issues related to movement with levelling of the house.
I was especially impressed with the teamwork and cleanliness on site and they completed the job ahead of schedule - much to the disappointment of my Labrador who had loved having such a friendly crew around.

Paul provided excellent advice and quotes prior to my bidding on a house at auction. Paul's team repaired steel posts and built several treated pine sleeper retaining walls under the house. The retaining walls were very impressive and finished off professionally. The entire site was very clean and neat after completion. All rubbish was removed. Paul's team of three workers turned up on time on the day expected, as I had booked 2 months in advance. Work was completed in 4 days, as estimated without any issues. It was a pleasure to have work done by Paul's team. The team were good-natured and worked well together. My job replaced 5 wooden stumps with steel posts and a new beam, moved light fittings, replaced batons around the entire underneath, made the fuse box more secure, worked around pumping and gas pipes.
