I had a feeling I was onto a good thing when my dog Nando greeting Melissa like an old friend on the very first visit; I was certain when only a minute into the treatment, Nando "melted into the ground" with a look of sheer bliss on his face under her touch. Having had extensive surgery, resulting muscle wastage and therefore a lot of tightness from being so "lob-sided" for so long, now that he is recovering we embarked on a treatment plan including hydrotherapy, physio, swimming and of course massages. As in human medicine, any one therapy can only do so much and any one visit will not fix a problem. But with a combination of all these treatments, now a few weeks into his recovery, I can see how my beautiful hound is finally getting his "mojo" back, and Melissa has played a significant part in this. Nando is happy and excited every time he sees her, totally relaxes into the treatment, lets her know when she reaches the more sensitive spots, which she carefully and skillfully works on. And with Melissa being such a lovely person, I also enjoy my conversations with her during the time it takes. Money well spent!
