My 13yr daughter did a trail ride. Ramona was welcoming and very helpful. I was particularly impressed with the teaching my daughter received as she is new to riding. My daughter had a great time and is keen to go again.

Loved the horse ride on beach ! Also horses are in great condition and are not plod along school horses , great if you want a real horse ridding experience , and swimming and catching waves with horses is amazing ! Highly recommend

Ramona, the owner, invited me to review our experience today at Pegasus Park. She certainly did not tell me what to say.
Despite the wet and muddy conditions after overnight rain we were given very positive direction,(and lots of help ...as I am a total horsey newby)to prepare the horses and we were given initial riding instruction in a fenced area til we were comfortable. We had a gentle ride through the countryside up hills and down, over roads and bridges...my early fears disappeared as I relaxed into the ride. All fun looking back....don't know why I was nervous! Raymond looked after us all really well..it's like she has 10 sets of eyes! Thanks for a lovely day, my daughter enjoyed it immensely.

Pegasus Park is a great experience for riders of all ability.Dave and Ramona are professional and vey experienced and the horses are all tame.

We recently went for a half hour trail ride at Pegasus Park for my daughter's 6th birthday. With four kids and four adults with little to no riding experience, Pegasus Park staff were able to cater to our needs perfectly. Friendly, helpful staff who were particularly good at helping the littlies feel at ease. And great value for money!

Thanks to the wonderful instructors and horses of Pegasus Park Equestrian Centre I was able to learn and understand the human and horse relationship that has existed among both species for decades. The centre has taught me how to become a confident rider and left me with memories that will stay forever :)

I think you are the best instructors ever, the horses are beautiful and very quiet and well behaved! Both hinterland and beach rides are amazing! Hinterland ride has a spectacular view and the beach is good fun, you will understand what it feels like to be free when you are on the horse on the beach! Overall, just being on a majestic animal the horse, whether on the beach or the hinterland ride is a very special experience!! Thanks so much, Dave and Ramona !!! :)

I have been involved with pegasus park for at least 15 or so years. Ramona taught me to ride from the start, I did the weekly group lessons. Over the years I have kept coming back to pegasus park whenever I am back in the area for a catch up beach or hinterland ride and lend a hand with their busy daily duties. As owner operators ramona and david do a great job. Horses are a busy lifestyle there are always paddock jobs to be done so be patient if the phone isnt answered straight away, I know first hand it is hard juggling a secretaries job while on horse back talking to clients out on a ride all at the same time. I think they do a marvellous job juggling everything on a daily basis. The kids lessons are great, the kids learn everything involved to one day look after their own ponies, how to care for them, keep their environment and gear clean, and gain confidence. Rides are catered for a variety of riders from nervous first timers to the experienced. Yes most are slower school horses that have done the rides a fair few times over. Dont expect to be galloping up the beach at full speed if you are an experienced rider. It is a business that has practices in place to make sure everybody has a pleasant ride in a controlled environment. I find the rides relaxing and a great way to unwind while taking in the scenery and appreciate the lovely horses. The weather does effect things but noone can control that. I definitely give the thumbs up to these guys, great day out in a friendly relaxed environment and reasonable prices to match. HAPPY RIDING!!!
