I had a canvas stretched and framed here, and I was very disappointed with the outcome.

The staff member (owner?) is very friendly and personable, and is a very good salesman.

He assured me he was an expert at stretching canvases, and very busy because everyone knew how good he was. I was told it would be three weeks before my painting would be ready. However, after almost two months, I was still chasing my painting.

When I finally got my painting back, the frame was very light and flexible, the canvas was loose and had 'wrinkles', and there was no bracing and no wedges in the corners.

The first person who saw my painting told me off for trying to frame my own painting when I clearly didn't know what I was doing, and was shocked that I had paid top dollar to have the painting stretched 'professionally.'

I did return to this shop, and expressed my disappointment. The staff member (owner?) was not interested in discussing any remedy, and just repeatedly told me he was an expert, and I didn't know what I was talking about.

I've since had the painting properly stretched and framed at less than half the cost charged by this shop.
