Poppies On Canterbury

We had dinner for 6 people on a Wednesday night. This is the first time we had eaten here and it was really lovely. A huge range of dishes to choose from. I would recommend anyone to go here, service was friendly and the food was very nice.

We booked with short notice to arrive to very friendly Staff to greet us and to seat us.
After the Specials Board was set up at our table we were then given ample time to choose.
Our Meals arrived promptly, good size serves and plenty of vegetables, very very tasty.
Menu is excellent and covers all tastes, even two choices of Gnocchi
Table was in a perfect position, not too noisy and plenty of room to move.
Lovely atmosphere and beautifully decorated.
Awesome service and well priced meals as it is a classy restaurant with Meals to match.

totally lovely meal experience, food was delicious, great range, not too pricey at all, very lovely dining experience. Only issue (if this is one) was that waiting staff - although absolutely lovely and friendly, leant over guests and accross table often to serve or take away empty plates. We were in a corner table however, so this may have something to do with it. Overall was great night however, and will be going back there soon!

We went to eat here after we forgot our key and got locked out of our house! the staff were lovely, and because we had already eaten dinner we had a cheese platter and drinks. The atmosphere was ambient and the prices weren't too unreasonable. Despite being locked out, it was a nice evening there.

We turned up last minute on a Saturday night and the staff went out of their way to squeeze us in. The food was beautiful - they have some really different dishes on offer, including a super duck dish - sorry duckies! Great value and top service.
