I have been going to Price Attack Macquarie centre for five years now and have had nothing but positive rewarding relaxing experiences with the utmost professionalism respect and personalised service from all staff. I have had experience in the hairdressing industry and I know that their hairdresses dont use cut throat razors instead of sissors and as for your colour, I doubt it. Price Attack only employs highly qualified colourists and the toilets are about a 20 second walk from the store.

I recently had my hair cut & coloured at price attack in Macquarie shopping centre I had spoken to them & thought theyr were nice & knew what they were talking about. Oh boy was I wrong! I walked out in tears with the worst haircut of my life & 2 tone hair that was orange & black! I had asked for natural looking "sunkissed" highlights & received lightening (which turned orange!) on the underside of my hair & almost black on my crown! The haircut was done with a cut throat razor (no scissors EVEN picked up) & i lost about 2yrs of length from my previously healthy long hair :'( they had started cutting at the back so I had no idea until it was too late! Once finished the stylist said "don't worry you'll get used to it in 3wks!" I explained how unhappy I was (even tearing up) they agreed to fix it in a weeks time at no charge! As I left I asked to buy something to help make the orange natural brown & was SOLD a toner - I should not have paid for the haircut! After a couple of days looking at how badly cut & colored it was I returned to ask for a refund only to be told by the management that they couldn't do it - I asked for them to call me & left the store. When they did call they were yelling at me "how dare I abuse their staff-& that in 14yrs they had NEVER done a refund!" I was told that they wanted me to come in & talk to them before they would make any decision - they then said if I dared to raise my voice they would have me thrown out by security!!! I did not show up for this 3 on 1 session & as far as I am concerned if they need my $200 that badly they can keep it - I won't be back & I'll be sure to leave list of reviews for her ;) Do yourself a favor - don't go to price attack! They aren't cheaper & you'd be better going to a nice salon & making a relaxing experience of it not an ordeal! Go somewhere not on an impersonal shopping centre, a place that has it's own toilets & good staff that make you feel special! I thank goodness I went somewhere today that took the time to listen & rectify the horrendous cut & color all the while making me feel like a valued customer!
