What a disappointment! Prior to and during the installation, communications
from Pulbrook air was great, but the moment the got their final payment,
they disappeared, even when we had an issue.

After installation, we received a complaint from our neighbours regarding
the noise emitting from the cooling unit. Although we had asked our
consultant if this may be a problem prior to installation, he ASSURED us
that this will not be an issue and it would follow all the EPA guidelines.
This was not the case.

To keep peace with the neighbours we agree to move the unit. We contacted
Pulbrook air to help us do so. We explained the situation and he said he
would get back to us with a solution and move the unit. We waited a week -
no answer. We checked our account and the money for the installation had
been deducted in the meantime. We continued to email, call, sms but they
just stopped picking up our calls and at times, hanging up on us.

We are now trying to find someone who will help us move out unit so we can
actually use it next summer.

Disappointing when people rave about their customer service, but the moment
they get their money, they don't want to know us.

Feel free to use them, but if something goes wrong, don't expect any help.

My experience with Poolbrook is devastating, I feel I have been ripped off and cheated. I have recently purchased an evaporative cooling system via Poolbrook air. Salesperson from Poolbrook air visited my home on a public holiday to explain technical specifications and pricing of product, He promised me cash back of $200 on unit and provided me a written quote for unit with higher specification , However product installed at my premises was with Lower specified in quote and cash back has been rejected , since then I have sent several emails to Poolbrook air , however I am not getting anywhere , sales rep who visited us initially told me he is not working for Poolbrook air anymore, however when I sent complaint email to Poolbrook , he has responded back from Poolbrook email address. I have repetitively asked for serial number of product installed at my premises as it comes with 5 years of warranty, however no one responds back. Poolbrook is not prepared to honour what has been mentioned to me in writing and verbally.

Just had a quick look at ASIC website and found that PULBROOK AIRCONDITIONING is not a registered business.

Im not going to tell you to go with this company or not to go with this company but what i will do is tell you my experience.

1. Salesmen was late to do his quote by 30 minutes i forgave that as he had a fantastic manner about him like all salesmen do (phoney)
2. Was told if i went with pulbrook they would have it done on the thursday
3. The quoted price was a lot better then the other quotes i had received
4. Was called to say job couldnt be completed until the monday and they would have there best man on my job (so far i was happy with the service) but thats pretty much were it ended.
5. There 'best man' for the job was polite but very messy and didnt complete the job properly
6. My unit didnt work once it was installed
7. Immediatly after the installer left i contacted the salesmen and informed him of the situation and asked for it to be rectified the following day
8. A technician wasn't avaliable and i had to wait for one to be avaliable it was wednesday by this point
9. Technician came and was disgusted with how it was installed. Said the zoning was incorrect and it wasnt working as the pilot light hadnt been lit and he needed more work done
10. The installer came back and argued with me about a conversation he had with my husband about placing duct ontop of a live Ariel, as well as my old gas heater was still sitting on my property that was supposed to be removed on the day of installation
11. Not entirely sure what the installer did that day because nothing was fixed. We started hearing a rattling and air pressure wasn't very good so the technician had to come out again..
12. Received a phone call demanding i pay the oustanding amount on my account i refused and asked for a discount for all the inconvenience, also the gas heater still hadnt been removed off my property
13. technician couldnt do any work in my roof as the installer forgot to put a platform down.
14. I asked for the original installer to not come back to my home so they sent another guy who was lovely to install the platform which he told me was up against the wall and he doesnt know what the original installer didnt put it in
15. Technician came back out for the 3rd time to check the rattling and the air pressure and made note that there were loose wires and it was poorly installed said pubrook will need to come back out
16. Received another phone call requesting payment as she was told the job was complete (clearly no one in the office knows how to communicate)
17. I wrote a nasty complaint and was very close to taking the matter to vcat and was contacted by a authority figure at coldflow (who now own pullbrook) to meet with me to check out the work
18. He came out to check the work and he even said it was a disgrace he instructed someone to come out and fix the job as it was pretty bad and he was there and fixed the issue within 3 hours (was happy with that)
19. The job was 'finished'at the end of July and its now October and i still havent received a compliance certificate which was promised to me.
20. No one has gotten back to me about my compliance certificate so makes me doubt the integrity of this company

In conclusion i would NEVER EVER use or reccomend this company. It startles me how they could still be in business when they lack professionalism and honesty.

I wouldnt have written such a negative review if i had just received my compliance certificate that i was supposed to receive in august! Looks like il be contacting VCAT once again..

You are paid to do a job, if you can't do it properly its not the right job for you.

Please send me my compliance certificate

Very disappointing service, so unhappy with our refrigerated air conditioner and central heater. Spent a fortune and within six months it was not working. Tried to contact Pulbrook Air and my telephone calls were not returned nor my correspondence replied to. Happy to take the money and the after service is not satisfactory at all. No assistance with programming the control either, I was told to refer to the manual. Disappointing to say the least!

Had A quote from Peter at Pulbrook for evaporative cooling in our unit. this was in the middle of last weeks hot spell. Got two other quotes over the phone as they were too busy to come out and would only do so if we were going to buy from them. Peter was the only one to come out to Quote, and his quote was the cheapest by hundreds. Our unit was installed today 1 week after first contact. Installers were professional and we are extremely happy with the service from Pulbrook. We would have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone looking for heating or cooling.

Their after sales service is non existent. I was told they would submit the paper work to the manufacturer for the extra warranty which was not done. After many calls to the receptionist who would not connect me to Peter or give me his mobile number I gave up. My unit rusted from the inside out due to condensation. The unit should have been under warranty if the paper work was sent in. I don't know why this happened, why my calls were never returned or why I could not speak to one of the managers. Fortunately for me the manufacturer did replace my unit but the stress that Pulbrook Air put me through makes it impossible to recommend them. I spent 4 months without any heating during winter. Please read the comments left at http://www.notgoodenough.org/viewtopic.php?t=35876
before deciding to use them.

Yes your right Abdul the bonaire evap cooler is much better than the breezair with regards to performance.
Pulbrook Air I wanna thank you and also mention how good your rep Abdul was and he knows his product very well.I had 2 quotes with the breezair evap cooler from you competitors and then Abdul
asked me if I ... was wanting a quite system and less air or I want a larger cool air system. I was actually thinking what is he talking abt, bcoz no other company asked me that , then he explained me about the fan in both system and showed me how bonaire produces more air.
Thanks Abdul
my friend suggested me breezair but after speaking to Abdul I went with bonaire and must tel you all I am very happy its not noisy and produces much more cooling, clean and efficient installation
Excellent work guys
Thanks again

My friend and I both had several quotes from various companies to have an evaporatrive cooler installed. After some initial reservations (a couple of other companies gave me some negative feed back about Pulbrook Air) I decided to go ahead with Pulbrook Air, mainly because of the professionalism shown by the sales rep and the multiple options that he presented to me. Great customer service and a hassle free install. I definitely made the right choice.

I recently had a ducted heater installed by Pulbrook Air. Four people came over to give me a quote but the young, tall man from Pulbrook Air was the only person who explained things in a clear, patient and concise manner. What really stood out, however, was how he listened to what I wanted and tried to accommodate my needs into the package that he presented.
The installation went smoothly (as promised) and the small problem I had after the installation was resolved quickly and without any fuss.
I would recommend Pulbrook Air to my family and friends.

I have to say Pulbrook Air You guys are highly professional.

Thanks Abdul.
I m glad i decided to go with your company n recommendations for heating and refrigeration cooling.
My third quote was with Abdul i was expecting another rep just like the other companies but to my surprise he was much well presented and much more knowledgeable than others.
he explaind me the heating and cooling system in one which was different to others, I was initially looking for only heating, I am very happy with his knowledge.
he explained me the advantages using the system with zones.
The price was expensive but then I realised I was doing heating and refrigerated cooling at once.
the installers were very professional.
I am more than happy and thanks Pulbrook Air and Abdul for a wonderful system.
