The gym is far too expensive and it doesn't have a temporary postponement on your membership if you are away, say on holidays etc. They just keep charging.
One or two instructors take too many prime spots making it un-enjoyable if you don't like there classes.

One of the newer gyms in Launceston means great current equipment, and its all well maintained. They have a great timetable for classes if you wanted to mix things up. Access to the personal trainers is nice but i personally dont find they push you hard enough but really good for setting up a plan.
The child minding service is great and the separate ladies section is nice too

I recently joined Pycsam after I heard how great it was from a friend, and found out how much cheaper it was then my current gym (plus you get heaps more!). The timetable is awesome, there is heaps of variety of classes and they are on a lot. There is also a lot of equipment and free childcare for most opening hours, which is definately a bonus if you have kids! They open everyday and for long hours too. The instructors and all the staff are super friendly, and it's not impersonal like I thought a bigger gym may be. You can even get your own exercise program taught and written to you for no extra cost. Also a note that the family memberships are super affordable!
