I haven't even stayed there yet, and already there are dramas.

I booked this through Coxy's Big Break (mates rates) and, because it is only new, thought it would be a good place for my husband and I to take his RARE and IMPORTED car for a drive. (About 2 hours from Melbourne)

First, don't bother going there if you need off street parking. With 60 apartments, they only have space in the car park for 34 cars.

We were told that we would be able to get a car park if we arrived before 2pm and then didn't leave!

Then, because this was booked through a tv special, I was told that we were not getting a refund for the night that I had paid as a deposit - even though their website says that you would be refunded if you gave more than 48 hours notice. (I was giving 4 weeks notice)

It wasn't explained at the time of booking that there wouldn't be enough cap park spaces - and why would you ask?

I spoke with the Property Manager and she told me that, because I was told in the beginning that it was non-refundable, basically, it was my bad luck! I asked her to with the owners for me which she said she would do.

I spoke with her the following day and was told that it definitely wouldn't be refunded. When I asked if I could speak with the owner, she said no and that she made the final decisions as she was the Manager. All she did was run her decision by the owner to let them know what she was doing.

My advice to you is, if you insist on going to this place, make sure you asked as many questions as possible to cover yourself before you give your credit card number or you will be stuck with your decision.
