I would give 0 stars as my review if I could. Been going there for years and care serviced by Shaun and under his care with nil issues. He was a great man. Recently went to service my car and found out that it has come under new management. Now Rod is the manager. He is extremely rude and does not provide any customer service to his customers. Rod is the worst person you can come across in any customer service industry. He instead argues with his customers and does not take in consideration his customer's suggestion for improvement. All these years i have never come across anyone as rude as him during any of my car services anywhere. He even throws sarcastic comments at his customers which is not necessary. If you want your car service then I would not recommend this place at all.

I needed a RWC stat and Shaun was able to get it done quickly and professionally. I cannot thank Rapid Tune enough for their courteous and professional service.

Superb service. I arrived without appointment at midday - transmission problems. Holden had been unable to offer assistance for another 5 days. We test drove it together to confirm diagnosis, then provided thorough documentationSo I can return my vehicle to Holden for warranty service. Kept in contact all day, and rang the insurance people at my request for pre-approval.

First impressions - spotlessly clean in service area AND workshop. I first spoke with Shaun at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon ... I don't know why he was answering the phone but am glad I did! I bought a car service package because my front brakes needed attention (was expecting considerable expense). I made an appointment at a time that suited me, was offered a ride from & back to the workshop, and they charged me the quoted price despite an error in my favour. Car was washed, too. Lovely people to deal with, and a welcoming workspace. A great introduction, and I'll be back!

Transmission issue . Has been happening for some time. Took it originally to Holden to have it checked out and they were too busy, then ended up taking it somewhere else and the transmission was failing.
Then i took it to rapid tune and Shaun checked the whole system and advised that it has failed the transmission system and needs to be replaced. And then he took this back to Holden to have it under warranty ,which of course has expired by 4 months but after Shaun explained the condition of the system to Holden considered to replace under warranty.
i got the car back from Holden with new transmission system with out spending money my pocket. Big thanks to Shaun who helped me to get this sorted.

Shaun was very friendly & helpful on initial phone call & when my car was towed in. Kept in touch with progress and reduced all my fears. I would highly recommend their team. The RACV looked up the top 10 mechanics in Moorabbin and recommended the team at Rapid Tune Moorabbin.

They gave me a courtesy vehicle to use and when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, the bill was less than the original amount quoted! It was also washed & vacuumed! I even left my phone in the courtesy car and Shaun came after hours to my house and dropped off the phone to me.

Absolute champions!
