West Coast Swing is such a fun style of dance to learn, and the classes at Raw Connection are great! Allan and Holly are talented dancers and excellent teachers for beginners and advanced students alike. I was impressed with how well they explain technique and get you dancing the basics on the social floor from the very first evening. I have done some ballroom, latin and salsa in the past but WCS was completely new to me - it seems to be gaining popularity fast and the studio was practically full every week, with plenty of people to dance with (unlike some other suburban dance venues in Brisbane). No partner required in order to turn up! They're also great at making sure beginners are welcomed by the whole studio, and in addition to the weekly classes and socials there are special events several times a year, including dance conventions with international guest performers. Raw Connection is where it's happening!
