!! RBD Building… Stay well clear !!

We had an insurance claim due to the boxing day bushfires, they tried replacing all burnt and damaged parts of the property and house with inferior products, not coming up to inspect their contractors work.

Just a couple examples… it took 3 different roof plumbers to replace gutters and down pipes and it still wasn’t done correctly, I had to put more gutter clips in myself and add more down pipe straps to stop sagging.

We have jarrah handrails all around the house, one hand rail was burnt and replaced with an incorrect size of pine.. when mentioned to RBD I was told “You cant get jarrah in that size anymore”
2 phone calls later I found dozens of them in a salvage yard.

If it wasn’t for our insurer who went above and beyond!
The claim manager himself had to get involved to make sure jobs where being done to standard and on time.
