Reactor Bar & Cafe

This is an ok cafe in Chadstone shopping centre. The best part about it is that there are always plenty of tables to sit at. There is a large menu to choose from but the ingredients used do not seem to be as fresh as they could be. The staff are nice and willing to make adjustments to the menu if you ask.

I love this place. The service is always great.. and the food is always DE-LISH! And you get your food quick too! It's also conveniently located right next to the Theaters/Cinema.. so it's a perfect place to eat before or after a good movie.

In all the times my husband & I have eaten there, (which has been multiple upon multiple times!), we have never had a bad meal. The owner is nice & they are very kind to fix up your order the way you prefer it to be.

They have a large range of different plates you can choose from too. And the servings are VERY large if you are ordering dinner. I usually get one of their cream pastas! Very satisfying every time!

I have nothing bad to say about the place. It's most definitely the best food to find in that remote area at the food court of Chadstone Shopping Centre for sure!

It's nice to grab a couple of beers before a movie that could be particularly bad. It can be also good to stop and have a few more to talk after a movie. This place let you do that, it's a bit cramped the bar stools have your knees banging against the bench and if there are a few people there you can be elbow to elbow with someone. But in busy times it lets you sit down and sink a few while you watch the ocean of people that inhabit Chadstone, the staff are a bit abrupt but they are pretty busy most times.

I used to be a regular here for lunch, as their lunch specials were good value. It used to be $10 for a focaccia with a bit of salad and some chips on the side. However the last time I went there I was very disappointed to see that the lunch special is the same price but now I only get half a focaccia! They split the roll in half and only gave me half of it. I do not consider this good value and will not be going back.

The place is very ordinary otherwise, there is very little service to comment on, as you order and pay at the counter. I did like reading the newspaper - but most of the cafes in Chadstone with sit-down space offer this.

Great place for a quick lunch or dinner after doing some shopping. There are wide range of pizza and pastas to choose from.

Hmm wasn't really impressed with the pizza I ordered and received for the price that is, I expected something a little more special and not so generic, our server was pleasant however a group near by where having a lot of trouble with theirs which kind of brought down the atmosphere. Not sure if I would go back anytime soon...

Been to this place many times. I am a big fan of the steak here, yummy, tasty, unbeatable mushroom sauce. Can't wait to go there for dinner this weekend.

Great food and variety. Satisfactory pricing, but the owner 's niece spoils the overall great service.
Maybe a change of carrier as she obviously does not look like she wants to be there

food is terribly overpriced here. paid $16 for the size of a small pizza i could get at pizza hut. food come out quite quickly however, and the quality was not too bad. the greatest issue i have with this place is the prices. location is good and there is plenty of space from the tables next to you

This cafe is right next to the cinemas at chaddy so it is a pretty good option when you come to Chadstone. I had the lamb souvlaki and it was very good and quite a good serve. Came with lots of salad, tzatziki and pita. On the whole it is a little pricey for a shopping centre but has some good variety. Service is just ok

Reactor is a cafe/restaurant near the cinemas in Chadstone that offers a wide range of meals. Everything from Pasta to Open Souvlaki's to Caesar Salads. I was impressed by the range on offer, however it is possibly a little bit pricey at around $15-$17 per meal. I guess they have to pay huge rent to Chadstone.

The one thing that really annoyed me was that we ordered some chicken nugget kids meals and they came out 5 mins after our meals! Any good kitchen should know to prioritise kids meals because there is nothing worse than having hungry kids waiting around a long time for the food.
