My property was listed as 0 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, which was the data for the next-door shed. I corrected the information in March, but the new real estate agent for the shed next door somehow managed to mark MY property as up for sale and revert my property data to 0 bedrooms and 1 bathroom (they did it via property.com which is owned by realestate.com). The realestate.com person assisting me would only change my property as not up for sale, but wouldn't restore the metadata I had corrected in March. I didn't receive appropriate assistance from their staff and don't believe what is written on realestate.com.
i have used this site on numerous occasions and find it easy and simple to use.i have found homes of interests and find this site to be very handy.
I used this service when finding a place t rent.it is easy to use,got some reasonable priced housing through this site, rang around and end up viewing some houses.so if any of my friends are looking for housing i always tell them to jump on Realestate.com.au
Its a wonderful, informative websote that offers a range of information on houses to sell, buy and rent. Ive found all my houses through this website and ots updated fairly often.

good website easy to navigate and updated regularly. A few to many adds, but that's the internet these days. I will continue to use this as its the best of the real estate websites

Great website.
Was easy to use, allowed me to contact agent directly.
Found our first house using the ap.
Highly recommended.
Approximate cost: $20
This is a great website to see many houses which fit your criteria very easily. A great website and takes seconds to navigate and fillters help a lot too.
Easy to use website and love the competitions they have. I wikll always use RealEstate.com.au for real estate options.
Good website with easy functions and a nice layout. I like the filtering functions. However I don't like when agents don't list enough information, forcing you to call them. Pictures are normally good quality and the website looks very professional.
Very user friendly with helpful information about the listed properties. A great tool that has been used many times by me to search for that perfect home.

My boyfriend and I used realestate.com.au to find our rental property, and regularly browse through the website to look at open houses and see what the market is like. You can enter search parameters to find the right property size, cost, location and specifics like how many bedrooms/ bathrooms/ car spaces you want. Easy to navigate and best of all - free!

I am currently house-hunting and I agree this website is fantastic and easy to use.
easy to use site.bold headings make it easy to navigate.a good range of listings whether looking for rentals or a home to buy, good choices of how you want page displayed
Fantastic site so easy to use! Found my latest rental through this site..Contact details for properties are listed on each property, too easy definitely recommend if you are looking to buy or rent!!
nicee
Popular real estate page with good listing. Easy to navigate with good tabs for floorplans, pictures and description. I find it good when looking for rental properties and when buying a home.
Approximate cost: $0
This is useful as i have found three ( over time) rentals to live in through this site. If your buying a home, it will be all in red, if your renting it will be all in blue. Searching is easy for suburbs, you can refine your search into specific detail aswelll. The listed rentals usually have a lot of information about the homes and always have a contact number for the real estate agent. Usually a wednesday is when the new rentals pop up! Highly reccomend if your looking for a place!

this website is great it details every bit of info you need i fund all my houses i have ever rented through here the only downfall is that you cant put reviews for the real estates they are through
I love the fact that I've used this to check out houses to purchase. It saves time and money, running around yourself. The search features are easy to use and most real estate companies appear to use it to assist their sales.
Not just sales for houses. They also advertise farms, units, rentals etc.
A totally recommended website
not having to trudge around town looking for a real estate is great. sit back in the comfort of your own home and review the houses you might be interested in!
I have been using this website for looking at properties too.
Handy site to have bookmarked when looking for rentals or houses to buy. Have only ever rented, but have always used this site as the number #1 source to look up rentals. Very easy to use. You just put in your suburb and details of how much you would pay and then it searches for you..
A Handy tool when keeping an eye on Property values and market changes Australia Wide. Great photos and descriptions and comparisons to similar properties in the area. A One stop shop!!
This website it so easy to use and it's updated daily. Great place to shop for a home! As my home is on the market, I am using it almost daily at the moment and I love the flexibility of the search criteria
I love this site,I use it whenever I'm looking for a place to rent, commercial or private.my ex and I also bought our house after finding it on the site.very informative, they have lots of pictures, and the real estates details, plus you can apply for the property online!so helpful, you can apply for properties all at same time instead of going to different real estate buildings!you can also customise the search engine to your price preference, rooms pets etc, very handy.i recommend it to anyone I know looking to buy, sell or rent property!

Really easy to use site.
Realestate.com.au is easily the best place to search for property, as the range and volume saves a lot of time and cuts down the need to do the same search on multiple sites. The map-view search is a particularly fantastic way to hone in on a particular area if you have a good idea about where you want to go, which I feel is very under utilized.
I feel that real estate agents don't really capitalize on the inquiry system that is provided - often, if you leave your details you won't get a call back, but it's easy enough to take the initiative and pick up the phone instead. I should add that this is more true for rentals than sales. The phone app is also really user friendly!
Yes this website is so easy to use- especially when you are searching for a particular property!
I have used this site often for the sales aspect, I think it is great!
This is a fantastic site. It's simple to use and most importantly it is kept up to date. The fact that real estate agents use it on a daily basis says a lot.
I am a hobby house hunter and absolutely love this site
A great search engine for property, I've used this site rather than wasting time gathering a tree worth of rental lists (which are barely ever up to date anyway). An invaluable resource for renters, this site always has more properties listed than it's top competitor's domain.
Approximate cost: $0
I absolutely agree with you. I work in real estate and can honestly say that the internet listings are always more up to date than anything else. The reason being that things can get very busy so the first thing that is changed is the fastest, easiest and most wide reaching advertising. Though some people don't always re-check the listing beforehand, I've had some call from the address complaining that the agent isn't there, and then have to explain that the property leased 4 days ago.
I always tell people planning to visit inspections on Saturday to double check the listing after 6pm Friday. By that point, any time or availability changes should have been uploaded.
We just bought our 2nd home, all because of this website! It is so easy to browse & use. Sorry not much more I can say about it, just have a look, you might find your dream home on there
I agree, this website is fabulous to use. I just need to find a home to buy now :-)
The searches are great, good information and descriptions of properties. Really good way to research prices before you go out into the market. Great for looking at rental properties and what you can get for your dollar
This is a great way to find a new place too.
This website has serious loading issues. The searches don't work properly because apparently agents don't have to provide accurate information - i.e houses that sold a year ago are still listed as for sale on there. Sick of wasting my time on this site, so disappointed - wish there was a better site.
Approximate cost: $free
truly a brilliant website for searching for properties
the search engines enable you to short list homes which the features you want and area and price range is very helpful
the email alerts are very comprehensive and useful too
definitely this website comes in handy for renting or buying properties or for doing research about the market in general
I use this site for researching all properties, those for sale and rental, in the areas that I am thinking of moving, buying or renting in. It's a great site and easy to use and will give you a fair price guide as long as you put in a comparable place, which you can do as the site allows for drilling down.
Real estate dot com works well. Eg say you have a place you want to rent out, or that you are looking to rent a place. Pick your state, suburb and type of property and it will bring up all the same ones so that will give you a good idea of the going $ rate. Say your after a two bedroom, two bathroom, two garge apartment in Mascot, if you define your search to that you'll find the average price for these apartments are 550.00 to 600.00 PW so you have an idea of what yours is worth or the going rate to rent in Mascot. You can do the same for buying.
Ensure if your targeting a particular area that you click on the surrounding suburbs tab and un tick it, tick it if your looking for a whole area, a suburb and will consider surrounding suburbs, that gives you even more options.
The site gives good descriptions of property, though that is up to the Realestate offices selling or renting properties, to fill in and is no reflection of the site, allot like womo is not responsible for what we write.
It would be good if they, being real estate offices would include floor plans in their rental ads like they do with for sale it would give renters a better idea of space and size.
This is a fabulous site my agency, that is mine, in the one I use to buy, sell and rent properties uses this as their main advertising resource.
