Love the Vegetarian and Chicken pizzas and wine by the glass from here. They have a great happy hour special that runs during the week- very cheap

Happy hour is good value for money and their pizzas here are really delicious. Especially the gourmet vegetable it's a winner every time.

I recommend the Happy hour weekdays until 7pm. Wedges are good as are the calamari and chips.

This is one of the best value options for a sit-down meal at Southland outside of the food court. They have a lunch deal which includes a wine and tea/coffee. The food is quite decent. I like the BBQ chicken pizza, or calamari if I'm in the mood for something fried.

Approximate cost: $15

Pre-movie flat white coffee and cookie. Quick service. Nice coffee as in I noticed it was smooth and not bitter. Had a yoyo cookie as a sugar hit and mini indulgence. Newspaper reviewed and all good. Top marks for having the paper and good coffee. Choice of table. Will be back.

It is a great place for dinner.the meals are a good size, fresh and delicious. They are also well priced.
The staff are so friendly and offer great service.
The atmosphere is relaxed and there are plenty of tables to choose.
There is a fantastic range of drinks.
It is close to the movies and there are lots of shops if you feel like shopping.

3 adults & 2 kids dined here tonight. Firstly, the waiter couldn't answer even one question that we asked! Every time we had questions about a meal or a menu listing, he had no answer for us and had to go check for us, gave us wrong info on flavour of kids pizza (told us one thing then came back to say no sorry), couldn't tell us if Fanta was a drink they offered, couldn't explain numerous ingredients on menu including what the fish was in the meals we ordered!
2 adults ordered the 'beer battered fish with chips & calamari'. Both were served with salad which consisted of mushy cucumber, squashed old, once-diced tomato which all looked like it came from the back of a fridge about a week ago! I asked for a replacement (as they apparently thought serving soggy salad was alright) where I received a bowl of a 'different' salad- dumped onto my table by the female manager!
Next, I started eating my awfully over-fried battered fish & calamari rings and the fish was not fresh (super fishy smell and awful mouth-feel). Then just when I think this enough is enough, I find a black short n' curly hair which I think looked like a 'pubic hair' on my plate!!!!! Saying I wasn't impressed was an understatement!
I showed the female manager who didn't apologise and organised me a new serve of the fish n calamari rings. This was delivered by the uneducated male waiter, who basically threw down my plate in front of me without saying a word! I was shocked and so was my sister who saw it!
The replaced meal was not as over-fried, but the fish was simply not fresh and was disgusting to eat! I was with others at the table who can verify what I'm saying here. We told the manager that we weren't paying for the 2 fish meals and she never said a thing, no apology, no nothing.. She couldn't have cared less!
Never eating there again! Don't bother!

Approximate cost: $25

Sounds like a one-off. The food and service here is usually really good!

Lovely food, excellent service, excellent range, especially glutenfree. Every month I organise a lunch for 20/30 people & it has never disappointed.
I would be happy to take anyone there at any time.
The price is easily within everyones range, & the special lunch menu is the best value in all of Southland. Dare I say, even further afield?

Approximate cost: $13.9

My tip is the honey mustard roast chicken, the bruschetta or the roast vegetable pizza. Great for a quick drink and meal before the movies. Meals usually take around 20-25 minutes to get ready. The Happy Hour is great value too. :-)
