Exceptionally bad customer service and experience. I booked an expensive massage and lunch package for myself and a friend. The day before my friend came down with the flu. I tried to contact the spa several times to reschedule and wasn't able to make contact. On the day of the massage I was called back and was rescheduled finally. Then, 2 hours later-after the appointment had started - I was left a voicemail saying the manager had reversed the decision and they'd keep the money paid. Absolutely awful experience and for a premium price tag. Worst customer experience I've ever had

referred by the hot springs as full, great value for money, was upgraded to the outdoor room which was great, private and could hear frogs in pond. there was an indoor waiting area which was warmly decorated and an balcony with garden views which overlooked the bungalow and garden, we found the experience very relaxing

We booked in for massages here to try it out as peninsula hot springs was booked out. Unfortunately this was nothing compared to the hot springs set up or massage. It was still a good massage but I wouldn't travel back there for another. Red hill is a lovely place and the girls there were nice but the set up was not as good as it could have been and same for massage. Paid $115 each so was expecting great things. They had nice relaxing music but the half way through loud upbeat music and people started talking.Thought it must have been a party near by but turned out to be the girls in the hallway listening to some other music and chatting.i had booked a massage to loosen up my back and neck and she did alright with the back but never worked on the neck much so still had a sore neck and had to get another massage so felt like a bit of a waste.Overall had better massages that cost only $80.They did offer a good range of herbal tea on arrival so that is a plus.

In a word...Amazing!! An absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment you step into the place it is like you are in another world. Myself and my partner had a 60min massage each, that was extremely under-priced for the quality.
They were just amazing the two masseurs who did us! Their technique was very advanced, at one point my partner swears his masseur had 4 hands.
The place was beautifully set up with a very pleasant ambiance, and a very nice room temperature (important for when you are having a relaxing massage because you don't want to be cold or sweating).
Red hill was suggested to us as an alternative to Peninsular Hot Springs, I don't think it should be considered an alternative because Red Hill it is too damn good in its own right. We will never be going back to Peninsular Hot Springs for a bath or even for our first massage there because we are very happy with Red Hill.

Red Hill Spa, simple, friendly, quiet and fantastic. I would happily pay twice as much for their services.

Japanese style indoor/outdoor spa. We had a couples massage here. The reception lady was lovely and we had high expectations. The room really spacious and we were spaced far from one another. We both ordered 1 hour massage. Mine was lovely and relaxing, except that she was done about 20 minutes early and then stroked my hair for the rest of the time. I've had lots of full nody massages with head last, but usually about 5 minutes for this. My partner did not enjoy his at all. He asked about 5 times for some pressure, but the lady continued to merely brush his skin. The price was exorbitant - I think we paid $140 each! The cannot compare to St Kilda Sea Baths or the Peninsula Hot Springs, where the amenities alone offer much much more. Will not be back and won't be recommending. Sadly it's the only massage spot I could locate in Red Hill/Main Ridge, and the local Hot Springs book out weeks, if not months, in advance.

I'm sorry to hear your experience wasn't quite a positive one it's good to be warned about these things.
