This is my second visit (first time for dinner and that was delicious) but the first for dim sum/yum cha brunch. When we arrived, thank goodness, no queues or clusters of people waiting outside for a table. So went in and were promptly seated. The restaurant was pretty full.

There were waitstaff milling around with trays and carts of goodies for the picking. We had ourselves an assorted of steamed dumplings, BBQ pork bun, a deep fried yam mash with a pork filling (highlight of the meal), salt and pepper squid tentacles (nice but a little bit saltier than I would have liked). Needless to say, we enjoyed it but I must say I wish they made the dumplings a little smaller and more delicate so we could try even more of these tasty morsels of minced pork, prawns, etc. Towards the end, we were stuffed. The only downside was that i felt that the male boss was rushing us a little as he wanted to turn over our table for new customers (by then, there were ppl waiting). The bill came up to $45 for the two of use, including chinese tea.

Good ambiance but didn't liked feeling a little rushed towards the end.

The restaurant has a nice decor at its entrances with some water features and a very pleasant feeling. The food tastes good but I think the price is slightly more expensive than other chinese restaurant in town. Their turn over is fast so its a good place to have asian food on a busy night.

Approximate cost: $18

Hubby and I enjoyed a 6 course banquet on a Scoopon. Though we paid budget price, the food was first class. It was obvious it was cooked fresh and at the time, as it didn't appear too quickly like precooked does. Really tasty, lots of choice and the staff were excellent, with very special attention by Margaret. We will definitely be going back. Classy clean surroundings, very pleasant décor, and loads of room with large tables for groups as well as separate areas for groups, also small ones for more intimate dining. BYO welcome.

Came for a wedding recently and the food was amazing! Really fresh, hot out of the kitchen. I felt that this was very authentic Hong Kong style food. The service is quite quick too. I love the steamed lobster noodles, so tasty! Only thing is that it's very expensive but that is expected for such high quality food!

Went to regal on Roe today, being a sunday we had to wait about 20minutes for a table. We ordered Yum Cha dishes from the menu as well as got dishes from the trolley and trays. I specifically wanted Chilli Pepper Chicken Wings and had to request this dish at least 4 times before i was brought the item. This is not good service at all. I understand they are busy on Sundays but it does not take 4 requests to get your order.

Approximate cost: $5
